In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, CheqUPI (YC S23) played a crucial role in showcasing the power and convenience of UPI to foreign delegates. Each delegate received a welcome gift from the Government of India, loaded into their UPI wallet, allowing them to experience the ease of digital payments during their stay. The wallet, powered by CheqUPI, enabled transactions for food, souvenirs, and other services throughout the event. It was a real delight to help foreign delegates make digital payments using CheqUPI (YC S23) during the 46th World Heritage Committee Meeting.

Recently, I Sunny Kodukula came back to India for a family trip and I must say, I was in for quite a surprise. During my time away, I always kept hearing about the advancements India was making, but seeing is believing. The biggest shocker for me was seeing how widespread and efficient the UPI payment method has become. From local markets to high-end restaurants, UPI is everywhere! On our first day, I was amazed to see every vendor at a bustling bazaar accepting UPI payments via QR codes, making transactions seamless. At dinner, I noticed everyone using UPI to pay, highlighting India's leadership in digital payment platforms. The speed, security, and convenience of UPI are unparalleled. However, being an NRI, I initially faced difficulties using UPI as my international number wasn't linked to an Indian bank account. That's when my family told me about CHEQ UPI. This incredible app allows foreigners like me to make UPI payments effortlessly. CHEQ UPI came to my rescue, enabling me to experience the convenience and efficiency of UPI payments without any hassle. This experience has not only made me confident in India's development but also excited about the future. The adoption of UPI, supported by apps like CheqUPI (YC S23), is a testament to India’s rapid growth and innovation. I’m proud to see my homeland making such significant strides on the global stage.
