Championing Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) since 2011!

About us

Claro Energy operates in high power deficit, diesel dependent, agrarian & poor economic regions of India. We use solar energy for developing mass irrigation solutions & generate power at point of use. According to the United Nations 2014 report, "Even if the UN Millennium Development Goal of halving the population without access to drinking water and sanitation by 2015 is achieved, 244 million people in rural India will still remain without access to sustainable water supply" Innovative thinking can result not only in preventing the crisis, but also in enhancing economic development and improving living standards at large. At Claro, we believe that an improvement in water productivity and food security can be done through revitalizing irrigation technology, practices and institutions.

$300 Billion in Climate Aid? India Just Called It the Biggest Mirage in COP History🌍 “We’ll give $300 billion in climate aid,” they said. Sounds impressive, right? But here’s the twist that India just exposed at COP29: That money won’t show up until 2035. Now, let’s put this into perspective: For developing nations, 2035 is too late. For the Global South, this isn’t aid—it’s a delay that costs lives, livelihoods, and futures. While the wealthiest nations are applauding themselves, India dropped the real numbers: Developing countries need $1.3 TRILLION. Every. Single. Year. Because the climate crisis doesn’t wait for political timelines. Here’s what’s really at stake: 💧 Families facing floods without lifelines. 🌾 Farmers losing entire seasons without safety nets. 🌆 Communities choking on pollution, left without alternatives. And yet, the message from the richest nations remains: “Wait for the help you need…if it comes at all.” But this time, the Global South isn’t waiting. India, alongside other developing nations, is calling it out for what it is: a moral failure disguised as generosity. The fight isn’t just about numbers—it’s about equity, survival, and justice. The Global South is no longer asking politely. They’re demanding change. This isn’t just India’s fight—it’s a revolution in global climate politics. The question isn’t whether this will shift the narrative. The question is: When? One thing is clear: The Global South is done waiting. The world is watching. #COP29 #ClimateAction #ClimateFinance #SustainableDevelopment #NetZero #RenewableEnergy #ClimateJustice #LossAndDamage #CommonwealthForClimate #COP29ImpactMakers

People often ask me, 'What excites you about solar energy?' After over a decade in the energy sector, I can tell you—it’s not just about technology. It’s about the people, their stories, and the real impact. At Claro Energy, we’re doing more than installing solar pumps or rooftops. We’re helping farmers bring life back to their fields, giving them reliable access to water. And we’re helping businesses cut down on energy bills so they can reinvest and grow. But the moments that stick with me the most? Seeing children play in the water pumped by solar energy on their family’s farm. It’s a reminder that what we do goes beyond power—it touches lives, creates opportunities, and shapes a sustainable future for the next generation. And that’s something worth building together. Let’s keep moving towards a sustainable and brighter future! What excites you most about renewable energy and its potential?
