With 200+ Students it was an amazing 😊 time at Regional College of Management (RCM), Bhubaneswar. I recently conducted a session titled Brand I - "Navigating Self in the New Corporate Landscape" at Regional College of Management(RCM) , specifically designed for newly inducted management students. The session focused on several key areas: 1. Understanding the Importance of Self-Branding: In today's competitive job market, personal branding is crucial. I discussed how students can position themselves effectively, create a strong personal narrative, and communicate their unique value proposition. This involves shaping how they are perceived by employers, colleagues, and within their professional networks. 2.Identifying and Improving Skills: Each individual already possesses a unique set of skills. The session helped students reflect on their current abilities, recognize their strengths, and identify areas for improvement. By understanding these skills, they can strategically focus on refining them through practice, learning, and mentorship to stay competitive. 3. Awareness of Skills and Competencies Employers Seek: Employers are increasingly looking for candidates with not just technical expertise but also soft skills like communication, adaptability, and critical thinking. I emphasized the importance of knowing these evolving industry demands and aligning their personal development to meet the expectations of the modern corporate landscape. The session aimed to provide actionable insights for students to navigate their career paths confidently, with a strong sense of self-awareness and readiness for future challenges.
