CBEII has been created by industry veterans as a body that can represent the interests of all stakeholders of the biomass and bioenergy industry. The Biomass energy industry is a sunrise sector and has specific challenges which need to be addressed by regulators and policy makers. The industry is developing rapidly with various new opportunities, technologies and frugal solutions being developed nearly everyday. It is therefore important that stakeholders including farmer and farmer organisations, supply chain aggregators, plant owners of briquettes & pellets, compressed bio gas and 2G ethanol investors, Hydrogen and other future fuel investors, various technology owners, EPC players, equipment manufacturers, service providers like consultants and lawyers, bankers and not the last regulators and policy makers can be brought on a single platform with a sole purpose to develop the industry as the fuel of the future.
