Starting something new is never easy, but it’s always worth it. It has been an year since launched DAiOM official, we stepped into new territory with a simple idea: "𝙏𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙤𝙢𝙣𝙞 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝" The journey has been filled with lot of interesting meetings, lot of travel, late hours, big challenges, and bigger learnings and even bigger unleanings. From working with clients across jewellery, pharma, SaaS. retail. pharma it is nothing less than a rollercoaster ride. Here’s what stood out this year: 1. You are as good as the 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 you have. 2. The magic is not in the theory, it is in the 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 3. Each client, sector and problem taught us to 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿. What was most satisfying is the the process of sharing all our learnings over linkedin, blogs and session. We focused on delivering value and impact and our oxygen came along. Seeing how much each of us have grown as a business and as individuals passionate about creating value is humbling. Here’s to the year that was and the many more to come. And as it is said: 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜. Thanks to all my team, friends , clients and ecosystem enablers who continue to helped us in this journey and beyond.

Why Does Every Omnichannel Brand Look Up to 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲 🤔 In our mission at DAiOM to drive omnichannel growth for businesses, we’ve noticed a pattern: brands obsess over learning from industry leaders like 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲, Decathlon, Lenskart, and Zudio. These brands are benchmarks of success, and for good reason. In this series, we’ll dive deep into what makes them stand out—starting with CaratLane - A TATA Product Started in 2008, now a ~3000 Cr revenue profitable jewelry brand. CaratLane started with a bold idea: 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. And they nailed it! Jewelry shopping is deeply personal. People want to see, touch, and try before they buy. While Caratlane started online and built consumer love, offline is where they nailed the revenue growth. Starting as an online brand, they now have over 250 stores across India, but a great deal of traffic to store is influenced by Online. What sets them apart? CaratLane meets customers wherever they are—online or offline. Few key strategies they implemented which made them stand apart : • 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲: Drives conversions across online and offline channels. • 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 Mastery: Drives traffic with engaging campaigns. • 𝗧𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 Service: Brings designs directly to the customer. • 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗘𝗢: Boosts search visibility for nearby stores. • 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝟯𝗗 𝗧𝗿𝘆-𝗢𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽: Lets customers “wear” jewelry digitally. • 𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀: Tracks customer journeys seamlessly. • 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: Helps customers locate designs at their nearest store. and much more.. This analysis is our personal take based on our observations and insights from industry discussions. Comment "𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶" or "𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲" to get a 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 for brands. Let us know in comments if you have shopped with Caratlane and what did u like about it ?

𝗜𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲? In today’s fast-paced app market, success isn’t just about launching an app. It's about continuously improving and adapting to meet your users’ evolving needs. With over 550,000 apps on the Google Play Store, understanding 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 is key to standing out! Whether users are purchasing products or engaging with your content, providing a seamless, user-friendly experience is crucial. But how can you really understand what users need and how they interact with your app? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀. Product analytics gives you insights into user behavior within your app. It helps you uncover: 1. The features users love 2. Areas where they face challenges 3. The reasons they stay or leave By leveraging product analytics, you can: • Enhance your app’s user experience • Boost retention and drive repeat usage • Make data-driven decisions for growth In a world where over 70% of users abandon apps after just one use, this isn’t just a trend—it’s a critical factor for your app’s success! At DAiOM, we understand the push to increase product adoption and accelerate growth. We recently hosted a webinar where our CEO, Saurabh Agrawal shared key insights into using product analytics to drive adoption. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿? No worries! 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀. In omnichannel marketing, retaining customers is one of the biggest challenges. Brands often struggle to identify 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 and how to approach them effectively. Why? There is a database full of customer data. But if you’re unsure who to target, how to segment, or how to create impactful campaigns, you might as well be flying blind. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱? There’s confusion between two crucial concepts: 𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 and 𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀. Many use them interchangeably, but they’re not the same. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? Because knowing the difference between the both can help brands make better decisions with smarter strategies, stronger engagement, and better retention results. Let’s break it down for a better understanding! 1️⃣ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀? Segments are groups of people with shared traits or behaviors, like age, location, or shopping habits. For instance, a brand could target women aged 25-34 for a fitness campaign. Segments work well for short-term campaigns—like flash sales or seasonal newsletters. 2️⃣ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀? Cohorts are more time-bound and event-driven. These are customers grouped based on when they did something—like signing up during a sale or making their first purchase in a specific month. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀? They help track behavior over time. For example: • Did customers acquired during a holiday sale stick around? • How do they compare to those acquired at full price? 3️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘃𝘀. 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲? • 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀: Time or event-based, focusing on behavior patterns. • 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: Trait-based, focusing on shared characteristics. Both have unique roles, but combining them can supercharge your retention strategies. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀? Cohort analysis helps you: • 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀: Are holiday shoppers more loyal than others? • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗻: Which group is likely to leave, and when? • 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Create campaigns to keep specific groups engaged. It’s not just data; it’s actionable insights for 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. To help you understand more, we have put the detailed link to our blog for a full breakdown of segments, cohorts, and their strategic impact in the comments below! #marketing #customer #growth

Is your brand ignoring the No. 1 social media channel 🤔 All marketing managers are obsessed with mostly Instagram and TikTok . And somewhat YouTube If fact X ( twitter) brands are writing off , as it has become a venting ground. Recently I was checking top social media platforms globally, and it was Facebook with 3 B + monthly active users. But this got me curious, why brands are ignoring facebook as a channel ? After speaking to few marketing managers, could think of below 3 reasons : • IG and Tik Tok 𝘄𝗮𝗿 • Meta pushing IG awareness • Personal 𝗯𝗶𝗮𝘀 to use IG over FB Why you should consider facebook ? • Has more 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 which might have better spending power • Posts in FB can 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗧𝗔 which drives traffic to ur website • FB has 3 B MAU which is 𝟱𝟬% 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 than Instagram ! • FB has 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 which has very strong communities • 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 to audience beyond top metros One home furnishing brand told me that 𝟳𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 come from Facebook ads and posts. Facebook might not be the coolest / trendist platform, but it’s the one where huge audience is there and business happens. Is it time to revisit Facebook in your marketing strategy? 👍 Humm let me think 💡 Insightful, Would try FB ♥️ Already leveraging FB

Which cohort of customers are we targeting for the upcoming Black Friday Sale 🤔 This is what I hear many marketing people say in meetings every week. Being an analytics person I get a bit irritated every time I hear this 🤯 Why Cohort and Segment - are not the same guys !! But when I asked them to clarify, it became clear they actually meant segment. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard these two terms being used interchangeably And it got me thinking - how many of us are misusing them without realizing it? A cohort isn’t just a fancy word for a group. It’s a group bound by a shared event and time period. Think Gen X, Gen Y, Millennials, or people who started using your product in January. And a deep behavioral longitudinal study science. On the other hand, segments are based on shared characteristics like age, income or preferences. Understanding the difference isn’t just semantics All cohorts are segments , but all segments are not cohorts. If this is something you’ve been confused about (no shame—we’ve all been there!) I’ve made a video breaking it down with examples. 🎥 Check it out to make sure you’re using these terms the right way! And don’t forget to tag someone who will benefit from this video ⬇️ Also if you want to learn more about use of cohorts , comment 𝗖𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗧 and will DM a detailed guide. #cohort #segment #marketing #analytics DAiOM
