About us

Darbar Sahitya Sansada is a Not for Profit Organisation registered under The Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and is working towards the lives of the poor and marginalised sections of society. Its mission is to build confidence and capacity among vulnerable communities and groups for managing their socio-economic development. Through its various initiatives and projects, DSS has been able to reach out to geographically vulnerable communities and socially vulnerable groups like Scheduled Castes, Women, Artisans, Landless Labourers, Marginal Farmers, and Migrant Workers. Various initiatives and projects pf DSS include: Livelihood through women enterprises -Craft based livelihood programme -Promotion of Organic Farming and sustainable agriculture practice for women farmers -Migrant Workers Support Programme -Seed Village Programme -Domestic Violence and gender based discrimination against women programme The organisation is committed to empowering vulnerable communities and groups through its innovative and sustainable approaches to development
