🎉 Happy New Year 2025! 🎉 As we step into another year filled with opportunities, let us reflect on the transformative power of education—a gift that has the potential to rewrite destinies and create brighter futures. One Tara School an initiative by DEVI Sansthan, we witness every day how access to quality education can empower underprivileged children to rise above their circumstances. These young minds are not just students; they are dreamers, innovators, and future leaders waiting to shine when given the chance. Education is the key that unlocks doors to: 1. Confidence: By learning, children discover their potential and build the courage to dream big. 2. Opportunities: Skills and knowledge open paths to better livelihoods, breaking the cycle of poverty. 3. Change: Educated children grow into adults who uplift their communities, creating a ripple effect of progress. This year, let’s reaffirm our commitment to bridging the education gap and ensuring that no child is left behind. Together, we can empower these young souls to not just imagine a better future but to achieve it. To all our supporters, educators thank you for standing with us on this journey of transformation. Your belief in the power of education fuels our mission to make learning a right, not a privilege. Here’s to 2025—a year of possibilities, learning, and brighter futures for all! #HappynewYyear2025 #Educationforall #Empowerthrougheducation #Brightfutures #Devisansthan #Onetaraschool

One Tara school is an initiative by DEVI Sansthan. In this initiative we ensure that children deprived of education—particularly those involved in begging and rag-picking—can access quality learning opportunities. Through our programs, we bring them up to Grade 3 or Grade 5 levels and enable them to earn certifications through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). This prepares them to transition into mainstream schools confidently. Join us in this mission to unlock the potential of millions of underprivileged children. Rishika Gupta Thanks for being part of the movement! #devisansthan #onetaraschool #education #nios #schooling

One Tara Project- A ray of hope! I’m excited to share my recent journey with DEVI Sansthan and the impactful One Tara Project—an experience that has truly enriched my personal and professional growth. Through this association, I had the privilege of visiting slums, gaining a deeper understanding of diverse life experiences, and interacting with inspiring individuals dedicated to transforming lives. This opportunity has not only: ✅ Boosted my confidence ✅ Refined my skills ✅ Taught me professionalism in a real-world setting But it has also helped me contribute to educating underprivileged kids, enabling them to acquire foundational skills in just 45 days. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity, as the lessons I’ve learned will benefit me both personally and professionally. I am confident that One Tara Project will continue to thrive in its mission of #TransformingLives and empowering students for a brighter future. • JOY OVERLOAD, ONE PICNIC AT A TIME! We're still beaming with happiness after an unforgettable day at the Lucknow Zoo with the bright young minds of One Tara School, a non-formal free school by DEVI Sansthan!  A huge shoutout to the dynamic duo, Mr. Anurag Goel from Shambukha Foundation and Mrs. Garima Prakash from Prayas - Ek Sankalp, for organising this incredible event! Their dedication to empowering underprivileged children is truly inspiring. The children from the families of the underprivileged Society, yet igniting minds, had the opportunity to explore, learn, and enjoy moments they rarely get to experience. To make it even more special, our generous organisers gave them brand-new school bags and warm winter clothes! We're also grateful to the three amazing volunteers (teachers) from the OneTara School who accompanied the students and ensured they had an absolute blast! But that's not all! Our partners also conducted a health camp at City International School- Manas City, providing essential medical check-ups and care. It's heartwarming to see such selfless acts of kindness and compassion. As we watched the children smile, play, and relish good food, we were reminded of the transformative power of such small but meaningful efforts. It's not just about the fun they had on this day, but the impact experiences like these can have on their lives: Broadening Horizons: Exposure to places like the zoo ignites curiosity and a love for learning, fostering creativity and real-time experiences. Building Memories: Many of these children face daily hardships. A day like this adds a moment of joy they'll cherish forever. Inspiring Hope: Knowing that they matter, that someone cares, can light a spark of confidence and self-worth within them. These moments reaffirm our mission at DEVI Sansthan—to empower and uplift underprivileged children, providing them with education and experiences that help them dream big. The ripple effect can be extraordinary if we can collectively contribute even a little to brighten their lives. Let's continue to create opportunities for these children to learn, grow, and shine. Together, we can build a future filled with hope, dreams, and possibilities! #OneTaraSchool #DEVISansthan #ShambukhaFoundation #PrayasEkSankalp #EmpoweringUnderprivilegedChildren #EducationForAll #HealthCamp #MakingADifference #CollectiveImpact #RippleEffect #Hope #Dreams #Possibilities

Who says Christmas isn’t for underprivileged children? This year, we celebrated the festive spirit with the wonderful children of rag pickers at One Tara School, an alternative free school by DEVI Sansthan. Watching their faces light up with joy, laughter, and excitement reminded us of the true essence of Christmas—love, sharing, and kindness. At DEVI Sansthan, we believe there are countless ways to express gratitude, but what could be more fulfilling than making a difference in the lives of children who deserve every opportunity to dream, grow, and succeed? Thanks to the entire team on how they are transforming the lives of underprivileged kids through education, equipping them with the tools for a brighter future. Every child deserves a chance to learn, laugh, and live their dreams, and it’s our privilege to serve and celebrate with them. Together, let’s continue to create a world where no child is left behind. ✨ This Christmas, let’s pledge to make every day special for those in need. Share your kindness, spread the joy, and help us in this mission to empower lives through education. #DEVISansthan #OneTaraSchool #UnderprivilegedChildren #ChristmasCelebration #EducationForAll #Gratitude #MakingADifference

The Centre has scrapped the 'no-detention policy' for classes 5 and 8! In this significant move, the government has amended the Right to Education (RTE) Act, enabling schools to fail students if their performance does not meet required standards. The scrapping of the 'no-detention policy' allows schools to conduct regular examinations aiming to bridge learning gaps and ensure stronger educational foundations. Here’s what the amendment entails: ✅ Regular exams for Classes 5 and 8 at the end of the academic year. ✅ Additional instruction and a chance to retake exams within two months if a student fails. ✅ Special guidance for students who are held back, focusing on identifying and addressing learning gaps. ✅ Assurance that no child will be expelled from school during elementary education. This decision is set to impact over 3,000 central schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and Sainik Schools. The initiative reflects a clear intent: to prioritize learning outcomes and equip students with stronger academic skills. While this approach might seem challenging, it emphasizes accountability, tailored support, and an opportunity for students to truly understand and master core concepts. As an education enthusiast, I believe this step highlights the importance of providing individualized support to ensure no student is left behind. What are your thoughts on this change? Comment your thoughts below let's discuss. P.S. Reshare this post if you agree with this decision. #EducationMatters #RTEAmendment #LearningOutcomes #NoDetentionPolicy #EducationReform #ChildDevelopment #IndiaEducation #UttarPradesh #Abpnews

Over 80,000 local graduates were awarded first-class degrees and exempted from repaying their PTPTN loans. As an employer, this raises critical questions about the credibility of local university degrees and whether they truly reflect the skills and knowledge required in the workforce. When graduates struggle with basic tasks like writing proper application letters, it highlights a deeper issue within the education system—one that has been heavily influenced by politics rather than focusing on quality and merit. Countries like China, under leaders like Deng Xiaoping, prioritized education reform and skill-building to drive national progress. Malaysia, too, must invest in genuine education reform to prepare its future generations for global challenges, rather than risk devaluing academic achievements. It's time to prioritize merit, quality, and accountability in education for the betterment of our nation. What do you think? Share your thoughts below!! #EducationReform #FutureOfMalaysia #Meritocracy #Leadership #Globalchallenge #Educationsystem #SkillBuilding

Who Is Responsible for the Rising Student Suicides? Recently, I had the opportunity to share my thoughts on The crazy careers Podcast with Nita Samantaray. We discussed an issue that deeply concerns me—the alarming rise in student suicides in India. While there are many factors, a significant problem lies in the mindset: For many parents and students, rank matters more than the knowledge gained. This unhealthy obsession with grades, coupled with societal pressure, is suffocating young minds. We’ve reduced education to a competition, ignoring the importance of holistic learning and mental well-being. Here’s what needs to change: 1️⃣ Awareness in Schools: Schools must take the lead in addressing this crisis by organizing regular counseling sessions and mental health workshops. 2️⃣ Parent Education: Parents need to be sensitized about the impact of their expectations. It’s time to prioritize a child’s overall development and happiness over academic performance. 3️⃣ Curriculum Reforms: Introduce life skills, emotional intelligence, and stress management as core subjects in schools. Let’s teach students how to navigate challenges, not just excel in exams. 4️⃣ Open Conversations: We need to remove the stigma surrounding mental health. Students should feel safe discussing their struggles without fear of judgment or backlash. This conversation is a wake-up call for parents, educators, and policymakers. We must rethink education—not just as a means to secure jobs but as a platform to build resilient, confident, and balanced individuals. P.S. What reforms do you think are needed to protect our youth? Let’s discuss in the comments. Together, we can make a difference. #MentalHealthMatters #StudentWellbeing #EducationReform #StopStudentSuicides
