DTU-DCE Fraternity Forum

Happy to share that on 4th January, 2025, Dr. Navneet Kumar Sharma, IRSS, Ph.D., MBA, ME, BE, MIMA, FIE, FIIMM , Founder & President of the Forum took charge as 51st President of Delhi Management Association in the first Managing Committee meeting of the newly elected members. Some of the Past Presidents of DMA were also present. The meeting took place at Civil Services Officers’ Institute, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Dr. Yogesh Misra Ph.D, the outgoing President welcomed Dr. Sharma with the traditional DMA robe and wished him a successful tenure. Dr Aquil Busrai, Past President, DMA welcomed Dr. Sharma with a bouquet. Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Past President, DMA and all the Managing Committee members congratulated him. We at the Forum congratulate Dr. Sharma and wish him all the very best for his tenure as DMA President. We are sure that under his able leadership DMA will achieve new milestones and grow further to become a very credible platform for the management fraternity. Happy to share that Prof. Anil Singh Parihar has taken over as Head of Training & Placement Department of Delhi Technological University Delhi. Prof. Parihar is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering belonging to 2008 batch of Electronics & Communication Engineering. Prof. Parihar joined DTU in the year 2010 as Assistant Professor and has been teaching Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence and GenAI. He got elevated as Associate Professor (2018) and became Professor in the year 2021. In between he also served as Associate Head, Training & Placement Department from 2018 to 2021 in DTU. The Forum congratulates Prof. Parihar and wishes him all the very best in this very important assignment. We are sure that his appointment will bring positive changes in the functioning of T&P Department of DTU and will bring better results for the students & DTU in these challenging times. 🍁💐🌷🌺🍁💐🌷🌺🍁💐🌷🌺

Happy to share that our Founder & President, Dr. Navneet Kumar Sharma, IRSS, Ph.D., MBA, ME, BE, MIMA, FIE, FIIMM has been elected President of Delhi Management Association, one of the premier and oldest Management Association of the country engaged in dissemination of Management knowledge and best practices. It is a platform for interaction, networking and exchange of ideas on management issues and has over 3,500 management professionals, acedemic institutions, PSUs and industries of Delhi NCR as its esteemed members. He has been serving DMA as Vice President and Chairperson of its “Government, Industry- Academia Committee”. He made remarkable contributions to DMA and organised several of its very useful flagship programmes like “National Entrepreneurship Summit”, “National Conference on Supply Chain Management”, “संस्मरण- Lessons from life experiences” and National Conference on “Atmanirbhar Bharat: Industry 4.0 – Making India Smart and Intelligent Manufacturing Hub” etc. Dr. Sharma is an alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering and Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi having done his BE & ME from DCE and MBA & Ph. D from FMS. Happy to share that Aditya Sheoran, an alumnus of 2004 batch of Electrical Engineering of DCE has been elevated as General Manager, Philippines, Malaysia & Singapore in PepsiCo. Prior to being elevated as General Manager he served as Senior Director, Global Innovation Strategy (Foods & Beverages) and Senior Director- Revenue Growth Management (APAC Sector). Aditya also holds a MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur. The Forum wishes him all the very best in his new assignment and a stellar career ahead. 🌺💐🌷🍁🌺💐🍁🌷🌺💐🌷🌺
