  • Advancing Infrastructure: Bengaluru-Mangaluru High-Speed Economic Corridor 🚆 We are delighted to announce that the Pre-Feasibility Report for the Bengaluru-Mangaluru High-Speed Economic Corridor has been submitted to the Government of Karnataka. As a key partner in this study, Egis India collaborated with iDeCK Infra and EBTC (European Business and Technology Centre), leading the technical aspects of the study. After detailed discussions, the report was formally handed over to the Hon’ble Minister for PWD, Karnataka, and the Principal Secretary to Govt., PWD. This proposed high-speed corridor aims to provide seamless connectivity between Bengaluru, the state capital, and Mangaluru, a major industrial and port city. By facilitating faster and more efficient transportation, the corridor will open new avenues for industrial and urban development, setting a new dimension to Karnataka’s progress. Key Highlights of the Proposed Corridor: ~ Access-controlled, high-speed corridor. ~ Approx. 300 km of primarily greenfield alignment. ~ Strategic route through the challenging terrain of the Western Ghats. ~ Boost to economic growth, industrialization, and regional development. We look forward to playing a crucial role in shaping the future of this transformative infrastructure project!

  • 🚦 Egis Road Operations: Promoting Road Safety and Community Health🚦 As part of the 36th National Road Safety Month, Egis Road Operations took an active role in two key initiatives in January 2025. We launched the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) Safety Awareness Program under the theme "Parwaah Karenge, Surakshit Rahenge", along with the 36th Rajiv Rahadari Road Safety Awareness Program at the HKR Project. These initiatives included safety slogan displays, reflective radium stickers for vehicles, road safety rallies with local students, driver awareness sessions, counseling for wrong-way drivers, and health camps offering eye checkups, sugar tests, and more. Additionally, a blood donation camp at the toll plaza helped support the local community. These initiatives demonstrate our ongoing commitment to safer roads and healthier communities. Together with our partners, we aim to build a future of well-being and road safety for all.

  • Proud to share the impactful contribution of the Egis Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) team at Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) in enhancing the city’s urban fabric for "Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas 2025". 🌟 Our approach went beyond aesthetics, aiming to create a deeper connection between Bhubaneswar and its residents. By fostering a sense of pride in the city’s unique character, we worked to transform its urban environment into one that reflects its rich culture and heritage. Starting with thorough assessments across 106 km of major roads, we used a data-driven approach to strategically place thematic wall paintings celebrating Odia culture. We also integrated carefully chosen sculptures and artworks that resonated with the local community, adding to the city’s story. The process involved detailed planning and collaboration with key stakeholders, including BMC, government departments, corporate houses, and developers. By fostering creative partnerships with local artists, we ensured the artworks conveyed meaningful expressions of Bhubaneswar’s identity. Our vision also included the installation of solar trees, curated landscapes for open spaces, and wayfinding signage to enhance city navigation. These placemaking initiatives have truly transformed the city, adding vibrant, communal spaces that provided a unique touch to the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas celebrations. A heartfelt thank you to Shri Rajesh Patil, IAS, Commissioner of BMC, and the entire BMC team for entrusting us with this project and allowing us to contribute to the beautification of Bhubaneswar. It’s a privilege to be part of projects that blend creativity, community, and culture! Housing & Urban Development Department | Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation
