Moving Into or Out of India - Everything Expats India will take care of Everything

About us

Everything Expats has been providing Corporate Relocation services in India since 2008. At EE we provide immigration, cultural training & destination services for inbound & outbound assignees. Founder, Loveena Leonardo, understands the challenges of moving to a new country. LL lived in the US for 11 years before returning to her hometown Pune in 2007. After moving her family from Florida to India, LL set up EE as a Destination Services Provider with the core aim of helping assignees moving into India. At EE, our consultants are enthusiastic, objective & professional. They understand that moving to a country like India, can be emotional, exciting, & even a little scary. They know the importance of being a first friend. Some of our consultants have also lived abroad & are able to understand & appreciate the preferences of foreign nationals. In 2019, LL expanded her vision for EE & introduced immigration & cultural training services for inbound assignees. At EE we understand that no two relocations are the same. We tailor our services to meet the needs of each assignee. We offer a completely customizable range of services that span the entire assignment life cycle. At EE we understand the importance of making the assignee's partner feel comfortable in their new city. We arrange for the partners to meet with other nationals with similar backgrounds or interests. One of the many things that we take pride in is that we play a role in women's empowerment. In India many professional women have to put their careers on hold for cultural reasons once they get married. These women dedicate their lives to nurturing their families. However, at some point they feel a longing to start working again. Many of them feel unqualified and are hesitant to apply for a job. We train them & empower them. These women are some of our best employees. Since 2023 EE has also been providing immigration, cultural training & destination services for outbound assignees.

  • Thank you Elena Petevi and Frank Kleinegris for your testimonial 🙏 "Before moving to India, we had been expats for 15 years in Asia, China and Central America. Despite the fact that we had previously travelled and explored India extensively, there was still a significant shock moving to and settling here. Nothing prepares you for the challenges in India. The on- and -off availability of common foods you are used to, the constant calibrating for food safety in restaurants, on line food shopping, (super)markets, the congestion, noise and pollution, as well as the cultural differences one has to constantly navigate can take their toll, especially in the early days of the move…India is beautiful with amazing ancient culture, sights and nature. It can also be brutal on one's energy and sensibilities. Everything Expats team, with Loveena at the helm, cushion the shocks and even out many of the lows of moving to India. They provide sensible, pragmatic advice for managing day-to-day living, be it accommodation, food shopping, medical requirements or schooling.  They also provide a hand to hold and a shoulder to cry on and leave you with both a relief and a renewed energy to enjoy the best that the country can offer. Additionally, they provide access to a network of other ex-pats which enables settling in through building relationships and friendships faster than it could otherwise have been and that sustain the settling in process. If we had to do the move to India again, we would not hesitate to go with Everything Expats. In all our expat years we have not come across a relocation company that is truly with you, in the way that All Things Expats are!”

  • Thank you Ina Rørtveit for your testimonial. "We have been a customer of Everything Expats India for a little over a year now and can highly recommend the services they provide. As a newcomer to any country, having someone around, that you can trust, that will have your back and that supports you on the spot when needed is in our experience extremely important for our own comfort and safety. Complicating the picture with family and kids makes it even more important. Moving to a new country with your family requires preparations. Some things you can prepare for, but some are in the dark until you arrive. The practicalities like Housing, Visa applications, Bank account, School and Drivers is one part that MUST be in place at a certain time and that basically prevents your life from normalizing if it’s not. Moving to a new country, familiarizing yourself with how all these practicalities must be sorted requires the presence and trust in a 3rd party you really don’t know, and whom you initially have no reason to trust. In addition to this, the non-practical parts, which make your life a good one, like where to shop for food, where to make friends, get introduced to culture, music and etiquette – that is another part that is equally important but equally difficult. Normally, one would be well prepared as a family moving abroad, particularly with kids. We were not! We decided to move and arranged the important stuff like school and visa within a period of two months. Arriving to India, we really didn’t have anyone we knew or could trust – except for our contact in Everything Expats India. From the day we arrived, they met us at the hotel, talked us through the how to get sim cards arranged, bank accounts, housing and driver. We got help to arrange our entry visas technicalities and all time-bound activities in a non-stressful and professional way. Now, after little over a year – I can – and I do – still reach out for the little and bigger things I need help to understand or do. Everything Expats India always help out! In addition to the practicalities, Loveena and her team arrange different cultural events and fun for the whole family and us adults only. We eat, during, have fun activities and cultural events which builds lifelong friendships and help us gain a deep and genuine insight into Indian culture, way of society and people. To us as a family – Everything Expats India has made all the difference for us moving here to India – they have my heartfelt recommendation!"

  • Don Bloyer Testimonial for Everything Expats Part 2 Don was an Expat in India from Aug 2019 to July 2022 "Covid Era: Due to the unusual circumstances of being abroad during the Covid epidemic, I believe it is important to comment on how Everything Expats handled that with their expat clients. After reading the above review, I would expect one would assume they did it very well; that, of course, was the case! I remained in my assignment during the Covid epidemic. They were a pivotal resource for all of us in my expat circle for Government updates, local support updates, and travel-related restrictions and requirements both locally within India and globally between India and other geographic regions. They created messaging groups in different areas, for example, that expats could share the current experiences around home to business travel and the customs/immigration required documentation, quanrantining rules, etc. This was very difficult for any one individual to discover as a foreign resident. They also had an 'open line' for all of their clients to reach out and look for seemingly mundane, yet golden information, like what grocery stores and pharmacies were open and what time windows. In fact, they even personally helped people like myself, who chose to live in a smaller, neighborhood building versus the very large condo complexes, get services or transport during the height of the lockdown. These were make or break actions that allowed expats to stay in their assignments. It is trying times that test the integrity of a business, and it should be clear that Everything Expats proved theirs. Background on how I connected with Everything Expats: I was pointed to them by a colleague who had met them after moving to Pune for an expat assignment. My colleague lamented how they wished they could have used Everything Expats for their move! I got the approval from my company to connect with Everything Expats during my 'scouting' trip during business travel and asked if they could spend an hour showing me a few apartments just to give me some reference of what housing options there were in Pune. They were awesome. They showed me four apartments in a wide range of scenarios (small building to medium society to large high rise). They also provided detailed educational material about 'what to expect living in India'. This was invaluable. I was SO MUCH MORE PREPARED than my previous colleagues when coming to India! This is the type of group they are...they work to make the expat experience in India positive for EVERYONE. I met many dozens of people, in the time I was there, who had worked with them, and every one of them was very satisfied. Just come to one of their many social events, and you can ask any one of over a hundred people yourself!!"

  • Everything Expats would like to thank Don Bloyer for his testimonial which I will be sharing in 2 parts! "! worked with Everything Expats for my expat assignment from 2019-2022, and my experience with Everything Expats was amazing. Loveena and her team were nothing but spectacular! They managed my house hunting, introduction to the area, utility and service set up, gym/fitness center search, and continued to provide support and guidance, when I ran into obstacles, during my entire stay. Even down to getting me Hindi lessons! They handled all the foreign registration processes. They managed the residency permit. It used to take 3 different organizations to get all the documentation coordinated (FRRO, PAN, etc). Everything Expats was a 'one stop shop'. Previously, PWC and our legal immigration team would constantly ask me to send this doc or that doc often to both of them when they wanted to work the initial/renewal actions. I had the pleasure of telling them, ‘Oh I already have that, Everything Expats already did that for me!'. Everything Expats will provide digital copies of every gov't document and permit, to make it easier to submit and document in your company's doc and global subcontractor systems. They will leave you with a WELL DOCUMENTED paper trail that any competent adult can easily manage (both physical and digital copies). They were at my side for getting mobile phone service, bank account (which by the way you need all the above stuff first to be able to do!), Internet service & assisted in getting the fabled Aadhaar card. They established communication lines with my landlord and helped manage any issues with my living situation, as well they suggested or directly booked any help or service I needed. They provided a detailed list of contacts and directions for managing bill paying for example which can be a convoluted process in India! While I was living in India I would contact them about once a week with questions and they always find me a solution! They even put me in contact with a travel agent who helped me arrange some great exploring trips in India. Their level of connection in the area is unparalleled. They have a robust network of VETTED vendors and providers which is invaluable in a place like India, when getting something done is usually gated by who is the right person /organization to talk to first!! On top of the 'getting a life in Pune' started, they host, or partner on, many social events that give you a huge jumpstart into the Expat social community. One event and you will walk away with at least a couple of new acquaintances and friends and quickly build a social network for entertainment and support! This is one of the most invaluable services you can get when you are plopped into a foreign country, especially when your company doesn't have a large expat presence! It should be self-evident that they take their FULL STAY Customer Service VERY seriously and do not stop once the basic housing & documents is resolved."
