    The Flipkart Foundation hosted Sampark 2024: Inclusive Pathways to Social Impact on 27 November 2024 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event brought together leaders to discuss inclusive growth and sustainable development aligned with India’s national priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.    The conference opened with a keynote address by Atul Satija, Founder and CEO of The/Nudge Institute & Give, followed by a special address by Chief Guest Dhanendra Kumar, IAS (Retd.), Former Chairman, Competition Commission of India and Executive Director at the World Bank. Both speakers emphasised the need for collective action to address socio-economic challenges and foster meaningful social impact.    The Flipkart Foundation also unveiled its Overview document for 2023-24 and the second edition of Compendium Building India Together 2024, highlighting human stories of change from the ground.    Key sessions at the conference included a panel discussion on ‘Turning the Tide: Leading Disengaged Youth to Sustainable Livelihoods through Entrepreneurship and Skill Enhancement,’ featuring thought leaders such as Amit Kumar, Head of Inclusive Growth, UNDP; Mangesh Wange, CEO, Swades Foundation; Rema Mohan, CEO, NSE Foundation; and Shobhini Mukerji, Executive Director, J-PAL South Asia. This session was moderated by Anish Kumar, Co-Lead, Transform Rural India.    Also featured a fireside chat moderated by Jeyandran Venugopal, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Flipkart and Board Member, Flipkart Foundation, featured Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Vice President, Global CSR, HCL Tech & Director, HCL Foundation; and Aniket Doegar, Co-Founder & CEO, Haqdarshak. The event concluded with the recognition of five NGO partners—Smile Foundation, Pratham Infotech Foundation, AIACA, SM Sehgal Foundation, and Haqdarshak — for their remarkable contributions to empowering communities.
