In honor of Black History Month, FS in Color hosted a roundtable discussion with Chief Operating Officer Lisa Opoku. Lisa discussed her various leadership roles, her career successes and her experiences navigating pivotal moments as an industry leader and a woman of color. The conversation, led by FS colleagues Bindu Vemuri and Renaldo Johnson, covered Lisa’s unique insights into overcoming obstacles and achieving success.

Last week, members of the Darien office joined with Filling in the Blanks for an afternoon of service. Based in Norwalk, CT, Filling in The Blanks is a nonprofit foundation that provides weekend meals for children in the community who may not have meal stability outside of the normal school day. The team packed 1,400+ bags of food, providing ~3,000 meals for children in need. These meals are provided to children throughout Fairfield County, from Greenwich to Bridgeport. From working with firm leaders and joining corporate meetings, we were proud to be a part of mentoring this future leader. Outstanding Girl Scouts like Jasmine participate in a competitive application process for the chance to learn from industry leaders.
