Exciting news! The FGI Motor Claims Team has been honored by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for our exceptional efforts in settling the Vijayawada Flood 2024 claims. Awarded during the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2025, at NTR District by Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha lAS. Our team's dedication led to: 1. 100 % claim settlement on 240 claims reported 2. Achieved a TAT 17 Days in repair claims This Certificate of Merit recognizes our meritorious service and commitment to excellence.

It gives us immense joy to share that we have won the award for Best Insurance Campaign – Non-Life Category at the prestigious FICCI Insurance Industry Awards. This award honours our Redefining Family campaign that empowered the LGBTQ couple by including same sex live-in couples within the definition of family. It has been our continued effort to improve the insurance claims process and enhance the end-to-end consumer experience. In this journey towards excellence, we're super ecstatic to share the news of the processing of our inaugural health claim via the National Health Claim Exchange (NHCX) platform, alongside Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital. This new step not only reflects our commitment to harnessing state-of-the art technology but also improving the claim interoperability and democratizing insurance access. This partnership further smoothens the health claims journey on NHCX platform, ensuring a cohesive and secure method for exchanging health insurance claims data.

In a recent conversation with HBL, Anup Rau, MD and CEO, highlighted the significant benefits of reduced GST rates for customers in the health insurance sector. He emphasized that the reduction not only helps lower premiums, making insurance more affordable, but also encourages greater penetration of health insurance among the population.
