This World Environment Day, we joined hands to plant trees, got together to make the best out of waste, learnt about home composting and kitchen gardening, honed our environmental quotient through an Environment Day Quiz and put our drawing skills to test through a competition. At Glenmark Life Sciences we are transitioning to renewable sources of energy, creating carbon sinks through tree plantations, improving water conservation practices and enhancing energy efficiency to mitigate risks such as resource scarcity, water stress, and other impacts of climate change. Our efforts in delivering sustainable goals are reaping benefits, since we have made substantial progress against our environmental targets. But most importantly today we reflected on the individual efforts that we should take and the choices we make to make this planet a better place to live.
