Did you know that Indonesia recorded 53,131 dengue cases and 404 fatalities in 2024? According to the Ministry of Health, dengue primarily impacts children aged 5–14, making it a critical health concern. To combat this, our Indonesia team stepped up to make a difference. Almost 100 dedicated teammates volunteered to reach over 1,000 elementary school students across four schools, sharing essential knowledge about dengue prevention in a way that was fun, engaging and memorable. Here’s how we brought classrooms to life: 📌 Mosquito lifecycle videos straight from the HIT R&D lab 📌 Illustrated situational cards and animated videos to explain the dangers of dengue 📌 Interactive games and lively dances, turning learning into an enjoyable experience 📌 Special take-home gifts, creating a lasting impact and inspiring young minds This initiative is part of an ongoing effort, reflecting our commitment to continuously support and educate communities in the fight against dengue. By empowering children with knowledge, we’re not just protecting lives—we’re nurturing a generation equipped to take an active role in Indonesia’s mission to eliminate dengue. At Godrej, we’ve taken a significant step forward by transforming our decade-long Godrej Global Volunteering Week into the Godrej Human Rights Week, underscoring our commitment to embedding human rights into our core strategies and fostering safe, inclusive and fair practices. We launched this initiative with “Business and Human Rights: Pathways to Progress,” an event that engaged over 100 participants through expert insights, interactive activities and discussions highlighting the importance of prioritising human rights in business. Sumit Mitra, our Head of Group HR and Corporate Services, opened the session by reaffirming Godrej’s commitment to creating workplaces where every individual feels valued and respected. This was followed by a compelling panel discussion moderated by Gayatri Divecha, our Head of Godrej Good and Green. The panel featured thought leaders such as Asif Shaik, Founder of Jan Sahas and the Migrants Resilience Collaborative, who shared the harsh realities faced by migrant workers. Ranjit Prakash, National Coordinator for the SAW Project at the International Labour Organization, provided a macro perspective on the transformative power of policy interventions in addressing systemic issues like equal wages and remuneration. Mahesh Chandak, Head of SSHE, South Asia at Bayer, brought to light the human rights challenges in supply chains, emphasising the need for grievance reporting systems to enable swift and effective resolutions. The session ended with a lively Q&A, offering deeper insights into safeguarding human rights. The event wrapped up with an interactive learning session led by the team at Social Compact, where participants engaged in scenario-based activities to identify workplace human rights abuses and explore practical solutions. This hands-on approach generated actionable insights and reinforced our commitment to ethical and inclusive practices. Ramnath Vaidyanathan Ahona Ghosh Pooja Lapasia 💌 Dianne Tauro (She/Her)

At the start of this year, Argentina saw an alarming historical record of a 400% rise in Dengue cases, making mosquito protection more crucial than ever. In response, our team in Latin America, in collaboration with VN – our trusted skincare brand – developed VN Repellents that protect against the Aedes aegypti mosquito the primary carrier of Dengue. Formulated with diethyltoluamide (DEET), a powerful mosquito-repellent ingredient, VN repellents are available in two variants – Family and Extra Protection – have quickly become a game-changer, earning the trust of families across Argentina. Here's why we love it: 📌 Protects against mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and other insects 📌 Specifically repels the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the primary Dengue carrier 📌 Contains DEET for maximum effectiveness 📌 Paraben-free, cruelty-free, and vegan-friendly 📌 Clinically and dermatologically tested Camila Castillo Jiménez Camila Domljanovic Leticia Cammarata
