Revolutionizing Primary Healthcare in India: Ayushman Bharat Arogya Mandir Ayushman Bharat Arogya Mandir (formerly Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centres) is transforming 150,000 Sub-Centres and Primary Health Centres into comprehensive care hubs to strengthen India’s healthcare system. This initiative focuses on maternal and child health, managing non-communicable diseases, free essential drugs, diagnostics, teleconsultations, and wellness promotion through Yoga. Shifting to Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC), it integrates preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative services to ensure health and well-being across all ages and geographies. With improved access, particularly for rural and underserved areas, it addresses non-communicable and mental health needs, reduces severe health issues through early intervention, and lowers out-of-pocket expenses. Led by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), in collaboration with the National Health Mission (NHM) and state governments, this program is a step toward equitable healthcare. On December 28, 2024, a Career Fair was organized at Kumbarkoppalu Government High School in Mysuru, as part of the "Aim" project, by the GRAAM, Department of School Education, and Wurth Electronics Services India (P) Ltd. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Gopalkrishna Sastri, a senior Human Resource Fraternity and Former Head of HR at WURTH Elektronics. Ms Sastri emphasized the importance of both academic knowledge and practical skills for student’s overall development and success in the competitive job market. He encouraged students to face challenges with determination and focus on their career goals. Shri K. B. Lingaraju, President of the Mysuru District Industrial and Commercial Association, highlighted that various skills, not just engineering and medicine, hold value in today’s global job market. He urged students to focus on career guidance during their school years to shape their professional futures. The event included short plays by students, presenting different career options, and was presided over by Ravi Kumar, SDMC President. The program was supported by Headmistress Smt.
