Greenstat Hydrogen Asia activities are primarily focused upon developing, operating and maintaining energy generation, transmission & distribution assets. Greenstat is gearing to become a global Independent Power Producer in Green Hydrogen by Solar, Onshore & Offshore Wind, Hydro, Waste to Energy and Energy Storage technologies. Our competitive advantage is attributed to collaborating across the Greenstat’s investment disciplines; from strong network in the value chain, sourcing and due diligence in feasibility studies, through development, implementation and operations and maintenance. With a long-term focus on owning infrastructure assets, Greenstat remain patient while simultaneously building top tier businesses. Greenstat Hydrogen Asia aims to ease the commercialization of green Hydrogen in different sectors and develop coupling between different clusters (transportation, maritime etc.,) across the value chain for Hydrogen. Greenstat position itself to play a vital and leading role in this process/transition to coordinate activities and projects together with stakeholders and strategic partners. Greenstat Hydrogen Asian will coordinate procurement activities to unlock the economies of scale which are required to reduce the overhead costs per unit, as well as allowing more efficient supply chains and maintenance operations compared to previous deployments. By working at this scale and with proven technology solutions from its technology partners, Greenstat Hydrogen contribute to ensure reliability at the level required for commercialization. Greenstat activity aims together with its technology partners to reduce the costs of green hydrogen and increase the availability of equipment that contribute to the transition to green energy solutions and economy.

I had the privilege of engaging in a fruitful discussion with His Excellency, President Ranil Wickremesinghe of Sri Lanka on 13 March 2024.
