Excited to share my incredible experience participating in the 2nd Hakeem Abdul Hameed National Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law Moot Court Competition 2024, hosted by the Hamdard Institute of Legal Studies and Research (HILSR), Jamia Hamdard in collaboration with the Insolvency And Bankruptcy Board Of India! The competition was held in an offline mode from 23-25 February 2024. As the researcher alongside my talented teammates Shubham Ranjan and Sanchit Agrahari, who served as speakers, we embarked on a journey of legal advocacy and scholarship. Our dedication and teamwork propelled us to remarkable achievements throughout the competition. We clinched the second position in the memorial drafting round, showcasing our meticulous research and writing skills. Moreover, our performance in the preliminary rounds earned us the prestigious top 2nd place among all participating teams in the prelims, securing our spot in the quarter-finals. None of this would have been possible without the invaluable guidance of Nishikant Bibhu sir, Khushal Gurjar sir, and Deepali Sinha mam. Their expertise and support were instrumental in our preparation and success. Special thanks also go to our Moot Court Committee, School of Law, Bennett University for their unwavering assistance and encouragement. I am also grateful to Anandh K sir and Shruti Iyer mam for imparting knowledge to me and introducing me to the world of insolvency and bankruptcy code during my internship at SA Law. They have consistently guided and supported me, encouraging me to push my limits and expand my understanding. Their encouragement motivated me to participate in competitions to challenge myself and apply my knowledge and skills. This experience has not only enriched my understanding of insolvency and bankruptcy law but has also honed my advocacy skills and fostered lifelong friendships. Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to more enriching experiences ahead! #MootCourtCompetition #LegalAdvocacy #Teamwork #HakeemAbdulHameedMootCourt2024 #JamiaHamdardSchoolOfLaw

I would also like to thank Mr. Rehan Ghalib Khan for the constant support and a brilliant proposition; your unfortunate absence didn't go unnoticed. Last but not the least, Congratulations to the student organisers and the management team for such a brilliant execution. Best Wishes for the Petition Writing Competition to all the participants. Big data and its impact on teaching and learning at law schools !! Data-Driven Curriculum Development: Law schools can employ big data analytics to examine trends in legal practice, case outcomes, legislative changes, and court decisions. This information can be used to guide curriculum creation, ensuring that students learn the most relevant and current legal concepts and abilities. Personalized Learning: Big data analytics can help discover individual student strengths, shortcomings, and learning styles. This information can be used by law schools to personalize learning experiences, including tailored feedback, adaptive learning materials, and targeted interventions to help students succeed. Prediction Analytics for Student Performance: By evaluating past student performance data, law schools can create prediction models to identify students who are likely to struggle academically or drop out. Early intervention measures can then be used to provide more assistance and resources to these students. Enhanced study and Scholarship: Big data analytics can make legal study easier by offering access to massive amounts of legal texts, court opinions, legislation, regulations, and scholarly papers. Advanced search engines and natural language processing techniques can assist academics in identifying relevant sources, analyzing complicated legal issues, and producing insights more effectively. Data-Driven Teaching techniques: Law instructors can use big data analytics to evaluate the efficacy of various teaching techniques, instructional materials, and assessments. Faculty can continuously improve their teaching methods by assessing student engagement measures, learning outcomes, and performance statistics. Ethical and Regulatory Considerations: As with any application of data analytics, ethical and regulatory concerns must be addressed. Law schools must comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and security of student information. Furthermore, there may be ethical problems about the use of predictive analytics in academic decision-making processes such as grading and evaluation. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Big data analytics can help law schools collaborate with other academic areas including computer science, statistics, and commerce. Law schools may exploit the power of big data by bringing together professionals from several disciplines to build novel ways to teaching, learning, and research.
