It’s official! 🥳 At #WindEnergyHamburg 2024, HAWE Hydraulik and Rothe Erde signed a #cooperation agreement for the Pitch Bearing Unit (#PBU), Rothe Erde’s latest #innovation for the wind turbine industry. The two companies have already collaborated on the development of the PBU’s hydraulic drive, and this new contract marks the beginning of the next phase of our #partnership. Going forward, both our companies will align and coordinate our marketing strategies. 💡 The PBU integrates the #pitchbearing, the #hydraulic #pitch #drive and stiffening element into a single, ready-to-install solution for #windturbine manufacturers. This reduces assembly efforts on site and allows easier on road hub transportation. Additionally, the PBU’s conical shape serves as an adapter, positioned between the turbine hub and the rotor blades. This design enables the use of larger blade root diameters on existing hub sizes or enables a significant reduction in hub dimensions without altering blade size.
