Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Digital Services, Dr. P Thiaga Rajan, launched iAccelerate the flagship Acceleration Program of Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT) at the Hub premises on Friday. The first cohort was launched in the presence of the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, IT & DS Department, 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐮. 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐈.𝐀.𝐒.; Consul-General, Australian Consulate in Chennai, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐢 𝐙𝐚𝐤𝐢; and Austrade’s Trade & Investment Commissioner for South Asia, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐄𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐦. Debriefing about the iAccelerate cohort - with DLabs at the Indian School of Business as the knowledge partner - iTNT Hub CEO Ms. Vanitha Venugopal said that the program will benefit 25 innovative Tamil Nadu based emerging and deep tech startups from the EV, Robotics, Climate Tech, Marine Robotics & Defence, Healthcare and Life Science, IOT, Drone Tech, Assistive Technology, Sustainable Energy, AI / ML, and Cyber Security sectors. iAccelerate is a 4-month intensive hybrid program designed to support and scale growth stage startups which focus on the next generation of transformative technologies. Through a series of workshops, mentor connects, market access programs, investor connections and networking opportunities, participants will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to scale their venture. The CEO expressed confidence that these startups will emerge as the powerhouses of the economy and job creation, making Tamil Nadu proud nationally and internationally. We are looking for medical students to aid our AI team as we build our clinical decision support. The ideal candidate would be a 2nd, 3rd or final year medical student with good grasp of medical concepts and has to be comfortable using a computer. This is a remote position and has to have their own laptop/PC. Prior knowledge in data science or AI is not compulsory but will be an advantage.
