Thrilled to share that our team, Spellbound, emerged as one of the Top 15 Finalists out of 99K+ teams and 129K+ individuals in the HP Power Lab Competition at Symbiosis International University, Pune! 🎉🚀 Competing against MBA teams from top IIMs as an undergraduate team, this journey has been nothing short of incredible. The experience challenged us to think critically, innovate, and push beyond our limits. Our project, Sadak Sevak, is focused on building a truck mapping system to enhance routing efficiency using advanced data analytics and AI-driven insights. 🌟 Excited to Share Our Achievement! 🌟 I am thrilled to announce that our team, Spellbound, has been selected as a Finalist in the first edition of HP Power Lab, organized by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited ! Starting among 99,000+ teams and 1.3 lakh+ individuals, making it to the Top 15 has been an incredible journey. This experience tested our critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, and we are proud to have reached this milestone. The Problem: The fuel logistics industry faces several challenges, including: 1. Inefficient route planning 2. Unpredictable delays 3. Fluctuating demand 4. Lack of real-time optimization These issues lead to higher fuel wastage, increased costs, supply chain disruptions, and unnecessary carbon emissions. Our Solution – Sadak Sevak Sadak Sevak is an AI-driven fuel logistics optimization platform designed to make fuel transportation more efficient, reliable, and sustainable. Our solution includes: 1. AI-Powered Route Optimization: Real-time, dynamic route planning that considers traffic, weather, road closures, and fuel station availability for optimal deliveries. 2. Predictive Analytics: AI models that forecast demand fluctuations, enabling better dispatching and reducing delays. 3. Real-Time Monitoring & Automation: IoT-enabled tracking for live location updates, automated scheduling, and predictive maintenance to ensure smooth operations. 4. Excited to share that I am a 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 in HP Power Lab competition. 🚀 Competing against 𝟵𝟵,𝟯𝟲𝟬 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 and 𝟭.𝟯 𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, I secured a spot  among the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟰𝟴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶-𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀, and ranked in the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟲 in my track, 𝘛𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵-𝘎𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 𝘌𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺. ✨️ This National Level Idea Generation Contest was organised by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, aiming to create impactful, focused, and actionable ideas driving the energy sector towards sustainability. From an intensive online screening to the analytical proposal and prototype submission, the process demanded a seamless integration of technology and management strategies. Successfully progressing through multiple stages, the Semi-Finals was conducted at  SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, Pune. From the very first round on Unstop, every stage pushed us to think bigger, work harder, and innovate smarter. The journey was filled with late-night brainstorming, countless iterations, and the thrill of cracking complex problems—all leading up to this proud moment. From Scratch to the National Finals – A Journey to Remember! ✨ This journey started with a simple idea—𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂? Competing against 99,360 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 from India’s top B-Schools, IITs, and NITs, we had no idea how far we’d go. But step by step, late-night brainstorming sessions turned into a national-level pitch, and soon enough, we found ourselves among the 𝐓𝐨𝐩 10 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 in the 𝑬𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂 track at 𝐇𝐏 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐛 2025, standing alongside India’s brightest minds. Reaching the National Semi-Finals at SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, Pune, was incredible. Meeting industry leaders, engaging in conversations with Ankit Aggarwal sir, Bharathan S sir, Suresh Shetty  sir, and many more that challenged our ideas, and learning from the best minds at HPCL—this experience was worth every moment. Our Solution: 🚚 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐬 ensuring last-mile fuel access across 10,000+ rural districts. 🌾 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞—turning 400M+ tons of crop residue into clean energy. 👩🔧 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐏𝐆 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 via HP Sakhis, creating thousands of new income opportunities. 🔆𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐩—scaling solar and bio-energy, driving 21.1% CAGR growth. Projected Impact 💰 ₹504.19B total revenue in 5 years. 🌿 85-90% customer retention through localized fuel networks. ⚡ 6+ daily hours of power cuts mitigated through cleaner alternatives. Though we didn’t make it to the finals, we walked away with learning, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. From an initial idea to a fully developed solution, this experience has been a deep dive into real-world problem-solving. Our project, aligned with the ‘Technological Innovation’ theme, focused on integrating machine learning and IoT to enhance fuel management efficiency within HPCL’s ecosystem. Tackling such a crucial industry challenge was both intellectually stimulating and immensely rewarding. As one of the youngest teams in the finals, we approached each stage with a growth mindset, treating every challenge as an opportunity to learn and adapt. Competing alongside some of the brightest minds in the country made the experience even more fulfilling. A massive shoutout to all the fellow finalists and semi-finalists—the diversity of thought and creativity showcased in this competition was truly inspiring. ✨National Finalist | HP Power Lab by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited✨ I am thrilled to share that the team comprising Srisailesh N and myself made it to the Top 15 National Finalists in the HPCL Power Lab – 1st Edition! Out of 99,360 teams, we have successfully advanced to the top 15 after a rigorous series of rounds. What initially began as a cautious endeavor has evolved into one of my most rewarding experiences. This competition was not just a challenge but an opportunity to address real-world energy issues, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute significantly to energy efficiency. Under the 'Technological Innovation' theme, our proposed solution emphasized developing an advanced fuel management system by integrating machine learning and IoT technologies within the HP infrastructure. Being the youngest team in this contest added to the excitement of the experience. We embraced a "nothing to lose, everything to gain" mentality, which boosted our performance. Power Lab was an excellent opportunity for us to learn, grow, and connect with some of the most inspiring minds in the country. We genuinely appreciate the chance to share experiences and insights. The sheer diversity in the experiences everyone brings reflects the inclusivity and value we place on different perspectives.
