Meet P. Yamini Rao, our energetic Customer Success Representative at Hyperlocal! Known for her outgoing nature, Yamini lives by the quote: “Some people look for a beautiful place; others make a place beautiful.” "I’m a South Indian, but I was born and raised in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. My love for travel started young, with family vacations twice a year, covering much of South and North India. Now, I’m eyeing Western India as my next destination. My outgoing personality and interest in connecting with people showed early on in school, where I joined various clubs and committees, always eager to plan and execute activities. Growing up in the ACC Cement colony, where my dad worked, I was surrounded by a close-knit community where everyone knew each other. This environment helped shape my social skills. My family has deep roots in the cement industry, but it was my maternal uncles in sales and marketing roles which piqued my interest in a career that required travel and strong communication skills. After completing my B.Com, I initially considered a banking career but later pursued an MBA from Christ University, Lavasa, where I also led the Analytics Club. My first job out of college was as a counselor at Upgrad Education during the peak of the ed-tech boom. I did well, but over time, I realized I wanted a role where I could use my strengths in a non-sales environment. Learning about Customer Success through a friend, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. This led me to Hyperlocal. My journey here has been amazing from day one. We’re encouraged to ask questions, take ownership, and support one another. The collaborative environment made it easy for me to adapt, and even being far from home, I felt a strong sense of belonging because of the team. I’ve been here nearly two years and enjoy working closely with our clients to help them succeed. Outside of work, I’m a foodie who loves exploring everything from roadside stalls to fancy restaurants, binge-watching a good series, or out with friends trying new things like pottery. I also want to get back into Bharatanatyam dance, which I briefly tried during my school days. I’m excited about what lies ahead in my career and life, especially here at Hyperlocal.” #HyperlocalHeroes #Bharatanatyam #Hyperlocal #Marketing

Meet Naveed Parvez, our Client Growth Manager at Hyperlocal, whose guiding principle is, "Kindness goes a long way." His journey from a small-town boy facing language barriers to a growth manager at Hyperlocal is a testament to resilience & commitment to giving back. "I was born & raised in Bhusawal, where community values were strong. Being the youngest in the family, I was the most loved & talkative, often teased by my siblings, who said I’d make a great advocate. My father, a police officer, was strict about academics, which pushed me to prioritize my education. The real challenge came when I enrolled in my BBM degree. Until the 12th grade, I studied in an Urdu-medium school & excelled in my native language. Transitioning to a university where English was the primary language was a major hurdle. Every lecture, textbook, & conversation felt like a foreign language—because it was. I wasn’t just learning new concepts; I was first translating them in my mind. The first few months were tough, with moments of self-doubt & the feeling that I was falling behind. But giving up was never an option. I spent extra hours on my studies, translating every lesson & seeking help wherever I could find it. Slowly but steadily, I began to improve. My understanding of English grew, & I found my footing. After university, I started my career at an NGO as a client partner, where I discovered my passion for client-facing roles. I realized that my social nature & communication skills were a natural fit for building relationships & solving problems. With renewed confidence, I pursued MBA at Sinhgad Institutes, where my academic performance reflected my hard-earned lessons in persistence. This eventually opened doors to the automotive industry, where I acquired & managed dealerships & worked with some of India's largest OEMs. Joining Hyperlocal was a natural progression in my career—a place where my skills, passions, & experiences align perfectly. As a Client Growth Manager, I work closely with automotive OEMs, managing partnerships & strategizing for growth. My earlier experiences of overcoming obstacles prepared me well for the dynamic, fast-paced nature of my role, where every challenge is also an opportunity for growth. At Hyperlocal, I’ve not only flourished professionally but also found a sense of belonging. Under the guidance of Ankit Saxena, I’ve experienced tremendous growth—learning new skills, refining strategies, & expanding my professional network. It's been a journey of continuous learning, where each day brings new insights. Looking ahead, I want to give back to the community that shaped me. Growing up, I faced many educational challenges, & I understand how much quality education can change a life. My goal is to start a school with my friends, providing quality education to children in my community & helping reduce dropout rates. I believe the next generation deserves better opportunities, & I’m committed to contributing to that cause."

Meet Girish Pawar, our dedicated Customer Success Representative at Hyperlocal, whose determination and passion for the automotive industry shine through in his favorite quote by Henry Ford: "Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs." 🚗 "I was born and raised in Nashik, and growing up in a family with strong ties to government service—my father is a jailer at Yerwada Jail—instilled a sense of discipline in me from an early age. Education was always my father's top priority, and he constantly motivated me to focus on academics, although I admit I was an average student. My fascination with automobiles started when my uncle brought a passenger vehicle home, sparking my dream of becoming an automobile engineer. However, since automotive engineering wasn’t available in Nasik, I decided to pursue IT engineering diploma, following my best friend's lead. This path helped me excel both academically and in extracurriculars, eventually being elected as the student president of K. K. Wagh Polytechnic. I also actively participated in organizing annual college events and festivals. After completing my diploma, I pursued engineering at Bhujbal College - MET IOE, Nashik, where I joined various clubs like the Net Club and even led government projects for the Maharashtra Prison Department. After that, I decided to explore my interests further by pursuing an MBA at ASM Group of Institutes- IBMR in Pune. After my MBA, my first role was in business analytics, but I quickly realized that my strengths lay in client interactions. That’s how I ended up in the Client Success Team at Hyperlocal, where I’ve now been for 1.5 years. Working at Hyperlocal has allowed me to fulfill my dream of working in the automotive space while staying in a client-facing role. It’s the perfect balance for me. While my family continues to encourage me to consider a government job—I was even selected in the Delhi Police through SSC after engineering—I decided to follow my passion for IT and the automotive industry. Outside of work, I love to travel, especially to lesser-known, unexplored places, catching them before they get too popular. It’s my way of finding peace in a busy world." #HyperlocalHeroes #LifeatHyperlocal #OnlineSalesai #AutomotiveIndustry #Cars

Meet Rohit Palande, Client Tech Support Engineer at Hyperlocal, whose path is finely tuned by commitment to his craft. His life is shaped by music, much like his favorite Pandit Ravi Shankar quote: “The true power of music lies not in the notes, but in the silence between them.” “I was born and raised in Pune in a joint family, just a block away from my school- Judson High School. I was a bright student when it came to academics. My father owns a game zone, and I grew up surrounded by PC gaming and PlayStations. In fact, I participated in e-gaming tournaments all over Pune and won many of them. But my real passion wasn’t revealed until one day in 5th grade. A tabla teacher walked into my dad’s game zone, struck up a conversation with us, and suggested I should learn tabla. I gave it a shot, and it clicked – I was a natural! I started learning tabla and continued to play all through school, adding guitar lessons along the way. However, after 10th grade, studies took priority, and I had to discontinue my formal music training to focus on education. Though I was initially drawn to Mechanical Engineering, I eventually opted for IT during college at Smt.Kashibai Navale college of Engineering. The shift was more practical than passion-driven, but something else was about to reignite my soul. In my second year, my brother’s friend brought a guitar home, and my old love for music was rekindled. I was hooked—not just on playing, but also on singing. For a while, I even revolted at home, wanting to make music my full-time pursuit. My parents pushed me to balance it with education, and I completed my engineering. After graduating, I made a bold choice—I skipped campus placements to pursue music full time. For two years, I dived deep into learning tabla and singing, attending classes, performing gigs, and even forming a band. It was an exhausting yet fulfilling journey. My music teacher advised me to take a job while continuing to learn, as it's tradition in classical music to perfect your craft before fully pursuing gigs. That’s when Hyperlocal entered the picture—it was the perfect fit. At Hyperlocal, I found a place where work doesn’t feel like a burden, and I’ve been able to balance my passion for music and my professional life seamlessly. Every day after work, I still practice, attend classes on weekends, and stay committed to perfecting my craft. My goal is to honor my teacher's legacy, continue growing as a musician, and eventually pursue music full-time. Once I've established myself, my next dream is to start my own clothing line.” #HyperlocalHeroes #Hyperlocal #Music #Singing #ClassicalMusic
