Reflect daily: “What seeds did I sow today?” 𝟮. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: Build habits that align with values—like being punctual, honest, or patient—even when it's inconvenient. Journaling or meditation can help reinforce these qualities. 𝟰. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀: Just as not every seed grows, some actions may not lead to immediate rewards. View setbacks as opportunities to reassess and grow. 𝟱. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵: Engage with environments and people that inspire virtues and self-improvement. This reflects the idea of fertile soil for seeds to thrive. By embracing this quote and living it out intentionally, we create habits that shape and strengthen character, fostering a life of integrity and fulfillment.

About us
“I Listen” is more than just a slogan or a campaign; it is a mindset of being present for others with empathy, understanding, and without judgment. It emphasizes truly hearing someone with our hearts and minds, creating a safe space where individuals can share their thoughts and feelings without fear of dismissal. The idea behind “I Listen” is simple but powerful: to prioritize listening as an essential element of mental health support. It acknowledges that sometimes what people need the most is someone who will listen, without trying to fix or advise, but simply be present and hold space for their emotions. Recognising mental health is a vital aspect of overall well-being, “I Listen” seeks to destigmatize mental health challenges and create a culture where individuals feel comfortable opening up about their struggles. This movement is inclusive and encourages everyone to participate regardless of background, age, or profession. It is a call to action for individuals to be mindful of the power of listening in their interactions with others, fostering empathy and understanding in all relationships.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗜𝗻? We often restrict ourselves in various ways, either consciously or unconsciously, by creating boundaries or limitations. These "𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴" can take different forms, such as: 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Negative thought patterns, self-doubt, or limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving our potential. 𝗘𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Being trapped by unresolved emotions like guilt, anger, or fear. 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Conforming to societal expectations or staying in toxic relationships out of obligation. 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Feeling stuck in a job, routine, or lifestyle due to fear of change or perceived lack of options. 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆: Losing connection with personal beliefs or higher values due to distractions or external influences. The phrase emphasizes self-imposed limitations, highlighting that we often have the power to free ourselves if we recognize and address these "𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀."

Is the ability to say '#No' truly one of the most essential skills we can develop? Maybe we believe it in theory, but how often do we practice it guilt-free? 🤐 As humans, we’re wired to seek acceptance, to be seen as helpful, and sometimes, that two-letter word feels like a barrier to being perceived as 'good.' But here’s the question: Does saying 'yes' always serve us—or does it sometimes cost us more than we realize? 🤔 We, Chiradeep Patra of I Listen and I, Neeti Kandhari of Kizuna: enduring bonds, are thrilled to bring you our next #podcast, "Choosing No to Honor Yes"—an episode inspired by one of our own audience members who requested we tackle the challenge of saying "no." In this session, we’ll explore how learning to say "no" can #empower us to give more meaningful "yeses," nurturing both our #personalgrowth and #mentalwellbeing. Our podcast dives into the themes that challenge us, creating space for open conversations on the often #unspoken topics that affect our lives. Join us as we discuss the art of mindful boundaries and the power of self-respect! 📅 Date: Tuesday, 12th November 🕢 Time: 7:00 PM We’re grateful 🙏 for your continued support and look forward to connecting with you all. Let’s come together to discuss, reflect, and grow. #podcast #powerofno #ilisten #selfcare
