About us
IDeA Worldwide is India’s premier design institution established by Thomas Abraham (one of India’s leading design personalities) that he started right after graduating from IIT Kharagpur. It runs acclaimed interior and fashion diploma and degree courses and students get the rare opportunity to work under the direct mentorship of Thomas Abraham. The institution has bagged the title of “Best Design Educator” by the Times Business Award. The college has been on the press several times across the globe for its excellence in design education and has been featured in countries including USA, Vietnam, Pakistan, Australia, China and South Africa. “Design a better world” – in a line that encapsulates the design philosophy of IDeA; a more beautiful world, a more just world, a more elegant world. IDeA’s 3 year BSc degree program in Interior Design (affiliated to Bangalore University) offers students, International Affiliate Membership of the American Institute of Architects. Similarly, IDeA’s 3 year BSc degree program in Fashion Design (affiliated to Bangalore University) offer students, membership of the Las Vegas Fashion Council, USA. Along with being a prominent designer, Thomas Abraham with the assistance of his eminent faculty at Idea provide their constant support for students to hands on design live projects whether it is for the opportunity to intern for top notch events including the Architectural Digest Show and the Times Fashion Week. Last year, IDeA was handpicked to design for all 30 finalists of Femina Miss India 2018 under the mentorship of Thomas Abraham.
