On Friday, we hosted the Inaugural Program of the Classroom Trainings for the "7-month Industrial Engineering Program" under SIDBI(Small Industries Development Bank of India)'s Cluster Intervention Programme for the Printing & Packaging sectors in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. Launched in August month , this program has been commenced in collaboration with IIT Bhubaneswar Research and Entrepreneurship Park. The event brought together dynamic #MSMEs from the commercial printing, metal, polymer, and paper packaging industries, with a focus on exploring and improving operational value chains. The session began with a welcoming address by Dr. Soobhankar Pati , followed by a keynote speech by the esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. R.P. Mohanty, who shared his wisdom of experience on industrial engineering and the evolution of operations management in MSMEs. The program also featured a presentation on the Gap Analysis report and a discussion by Ms. PURABEE PURNASHA MISHRA . Additionally, Dr Divyansh Patel outlined the structure and key components of the classroom training sessions that will be part of this comprehensive program. Participants expressed great enthusiasm for the program and gained invaluable insights into various aspects of running MSMEs, covering key topics such as servant leadership, manufacturing processes, design, and people management, among others.
