The oil and gas industry is one of the largest sectors in the world in terms of dollar value, generating an estimated 5.3 trillion in global revenue as of 2024 1, 2 . Oil is very crucial to the global economic framework, impacting everything from transportation to heating and electricity to industrial production and manufacturing. The oil and gas services refer to products and processes that support the oil and gas industry, including energy exploration, transport of petroleum and gas to refineries, and the processing and delivery of energy assets to market. Other companies offer supportive services to the oil and gas industries, for example, providing IT solutions, help from experienced third party business and technology consultants, leading to producers to save money, operate more efficiently, as well as plan and implement new business models. The oil and gas sector is divided into three parts, vis à vis 1 the upstream, or exploration and production EandP companies, which find reservoirs and drill oil and gas wells, 2 the midstream companies are responsible for transportation from the wells to refineries, and 3 the downstream companies which are responsible for refining and the sale of the finished products. This paper looks into the oil and gas workforce solutions, the benefits, the challenges they face, and the way forward. By Paul A. Adekunte | Matthew N. O. Sadiku | Janet O. Introduction The prostate gland is the male organ that produces semen, the milky colored fluid that nourishes and transports sperm during ejaculation. It sits beneath the bladder and surrounds urethra, the tube that drains urine from the bladder. When it becomes enlarged, the prostate can put pressure on urethra and cause difficulty in passing urine. Most men have a period of prostate growth in their mid to late 40s. At this time, cells in the central portion reproduce more rapidly, resulting in prostate gland enlargement. As tissues in the area enlarge, they often compress the urethra and partially block urine flow. Benign prostatic hyperplasia BPH is the medical term for prostate gland enlargement. Treatment of prostate gland enlargement depends on the signs and symptoms and may include medications, surgery or nonsurgical therapies. Prostate gland enlargement is not related to the development of prostate cancer. Case Summary A 58 year old men presented at an outpatient clinic with dribbling of urine with frequent desire of urine and patient always feel to urgent need to urinate every time. Sebal Serrulata was prescribed initially in mother tincture form and later Lycopodium 200 was prescribed as per the homoeopathic principles. The case was followed up fortnightly for 4 months. The patient was successfully treated with marked improvement in signs and symptoms. Conclusion Homoeopathy not only treat the physical complaints but treats the patient holistically and as a whole. It resolves the mental trauma due to the physical complaints which master Hahnemann differentiated as somato psychic disorders. Homoeopathy has its bang on results in the geriatric diseases and can be treated as speedily as treated by other schools of medicines and in more gentle way with humanistic approach. This study evaluates the professional commitment of teacher trainers from 2000 to 2023, aiming to understand the changes and trends over this period. Professional commitment among teacher trainers is crucial for ensuring quality education and fostering the development of competent teachers. The study adopts a mixed method approach, combining quantitative data from surveys and qualitative insights from interviews and focus group discussions. The analysis reveals a fluctuating yet generally increasing trend in professional commitment among teacher trainers. Key factors influencing this trend include policy changes, advancements in educational technology, and professional development opportunities. The early 2000s witnessed a moderate level of commitment, largely influenced by limited resources and minimal policy support. However, from 2010 onwards, a noticeable increase in commitment is observed, attributed to enhanced professional development programs and increased emphasis on continuous learning. Furthermore, the study identifies significant challenges faced by teacher trainers, such as inadequate remuneration, work life balance issues, and evolving educational demands. Despite these challenges, the majority of teacher trainers exhibit a high level of dedication to their profession, driven by intrinsic motivation and a sense of responsibility towards shaping future educators. The findings underscore the importance of sustained support and investment in professional development for teacher trainers. Recommendations include the implementation of robust support systems, competitive compensation packages, and ongoing professional development initiatives to maintain and enhance professional commitment. Overall, this evaluation provides valuable insights into the professional commitment of teacher trainers over the past two decades, highlighting areas of progress and those requiring further attention to ensure the continued growth and effectiveness of teacher training programs. Introduction Anemia during pregnancy is a major cause of morbidity and mortality of pregnant women in developing countries and has both maternal and fetal consequences. Methods Quantitative approach with descriptive research design was adopted for the present study. Five hundred 500 pregnant women attending antenatal OPD of IMS and SUM Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha were selected purposively. Pregnant women can understand Odia language and available during data collection period were included in the study. Institutional Ethical Committee IEC and administrative permission was taken from IMS and SUM Hospital. The tools used to collect the data were as follows 1. Demographic questionnaire, 2. Questionnaire to assess the contributing factors of anemia and 3. Checklist to assess the symptoms of anemia. Data was collected by interview schedule. The data were analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS 21 version. Results The overall prevalence of anemia among pregnant women was 41.2 . Nearly half of them had mild anemia 48.6 , followed by 9.6 had moderate anemia and whereas only 3 had severe anemia. The magnitude of anemia was associated with age in years 2=2.450, p=0.003 , duration of menstrual cycle 2=2.707, p=0.004 , type of menstrual flow 2=3.080, p=0.005 , multiparity 2=4.339, p=0.004 . Conclusion It is concluded that the prevalence of anemia in pregnancy was low compared to the finding of other studies and magnitude of anemia among pregnant women was found to be anemia is a moderate. Frequent assessment of their physical health and counselling is more important to prevent anemia rather than treatment. By B. Gomathi | Subhasmita Behera | Valsamma PC | Soumya Kar | Amruta B. This paper provides a preliminary investigation and analysis of the current application of Tibetan language services in inland China’s medical sector, focusing primarily on the healthcare connections between the Tibet Autonomous Region and mainland China. Through surveys and interviews, the study explores the language and information barriers faced by Tibetan patients seeking medical treatment in Beijing. It analyzes the availability of Tibetan language services in healthcare institutions, primarily in Beijing, and the impact of these services on the experience of Tibetan patients. The findings indicate that Tibetan patients are a minority in Beijing’s hospitals, with Tibetan language services being extremely scarce and their related needs largely overlooked. Given that Beijing is the capital and home to the countrys top medical resources, this paper offers analysis and recommendations for addressing a potential rise in such needs in the future. This study critically examines the pervasive influence of social norms on consumer purchasing behavior, challenging the commonly held belief in consumer autonomy. Utilizing a multi dimensional framework, the research investigates the extent to which subjective norms shape consumer intentions and behaviors. The findings reveal that social pressures from reference groups, such as family and peers, significantly impact purchasing decisions, often overshadowing individual preferences and perceived autonomy. The study utilizes the Theory of Reasoned Action to analyze how beliefs about others expectations and the motivation to comply with these expectations influence consumer choices. Furthermore, the research highlights the psychological mechanisms through which social norms operate, such as conformity and perceived social approval, and explores the implications for marketers seeking to leverage these norms in advertising strategies. The results suggest a need for a nuanced understanding of consumer autonomy in the context of social influence, urging a reconsideration of marketing practices that rely on the assumption of independent consumer decision making. The study concludes with a discussion on the ethical considerations of exploiting social norms in marketing and the potential for fostering more authentic consumer autonomy.
