Imamiya Mission campus recently hosted the second edition of our Climate Change Exhibition, showcasing the final assessment projects of our students in grades 8 to 10. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the students were truly inspiring. Grade 10 presented an innovative business plan focused on the circular economy, while Grade 9 students engaged the audience in two unique projects. One group performed a skit on organizing eco-friendly weddings, and the other launched a cloth swap and resale initiative called "Swap House." Additionally, students set up informative stalls on topics including root-to-stem cooking, zero waste kitchen practices, personal care, home care, and creative ways to upcycle single-use plastics. We were honored to have Mr. Ashraf Ali Barcha, President of Anjuman Imamiya Leh, as our chief guest, alongside Mr. Mirza, Councillor of Chuchot Village, and Mr. Mumtaz, Executive Councillor. The event garnered positive feedback from guests, parents, and community members, highlighting the importance of climate change education in shaping a sustainable future. This exhibition is part of our activity-based curriculum designed for grades 8 to 10, fostering awareness and action towards climate change. We are committed to empowering our students to make a difference.
