These visits help them gain a practical understanding of societal structures, inspire career aspirations, and instill a sense of civic responsibility. As part of the program, students were taken on a trip to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, the Police Station, the MEO Office, and the Fire Station, where they gained insights into education, law enforcement, administration, and emergency services, equipping them with practical knowledge, career inspiration, and a sense of civic responsibility. Such visits broaden students' horizons, bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, and encourage them to envision diverse career possibilities. They also help foster practical life skills, emergency preparedness, and a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities in society. 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲: 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 For years, the Anganwadi Center in Bairawadgi, Karnataka operated from a rented building, limiting its ability to fully meet the needs of the community. Recognizing this challenge, the issue of establishing a permanent building became a key focus during special Gram Sabhas on child rights held over the past three years. During these discussions, both children and community members voiced their concerns, and formal requests were submitted to the Gram Panchayat and the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO). Although the building was sanctioned, the lack of allocated land stalled progress. In a remarkable display of community spirit, local leaders stepped forward and generously donated a plot of land for the construction. Today, the new Anganwadi Center serves as a beacon of progress and hope for the village of Bairawadgi, AWC No. 1, in the Devar Hipparagi block, Vijayapura.
