After completing her BDS in 2015 from Pune’s MA Rangoonwala Dental College, Dr. Khadija found herself on a different path. Marriage, a move to Kuwait, and the joys of motherhood took priority, but deep down, her heart remained in dentistry. With a 10-year gap from clinical practice, she knew she had to regain her confidence before stepping back into the field. Leaving behind her two young children for five weeks wasn’t easy, but she took the leap with CCRP—determined to master rotary endodontics, refine her prostho skills, and most importantly, rebuild her confidence. “During my internship, I had confidence. Over the years, I lost it. But within my first week at CCRP, I felt it returning,” she recalls. Hands-on patient exposure, expert mentorship, and structured clinical training pushed her beyond her comfort zone. She learned to handle emergencies, perform extractions, crown preparations, and most notably, execute RCTs with precision—an area she once feared. One defining moment was when she hesitated to take on a difficult case. With constant encouragement from her mentor, Dr. Pratibha, she tackled it head-on, proving to herself that she was more than capable. Today, back in Kuwait, Dr. Khadija is confident with her clinical skills while preparing for her ProMetric exam. She’s not stopping here—her next goal is to advance her expertise with an anterior esthetic restoration course at IDA. “CCRP wasn’t just about skills; it was my bridge back to dentistry,” she says. ________ Through our Faces of CCRP initiative, we're celebrating stories like Dr. Khadija's. World Cancer Day 2025 | United by Our Uniqueness 🤝 Cancer does not discriminate—but access to healthcare often does. Last week, we reached the tribal belt, conducting oral, breast, and cervical cancer screenings as part of our outreach to underserved communities. For many, this was their first-ever screening, their first step toward awareness, and a chance at early detection and timely care. Each conversation, every test, and all the knowledge shared reinforced our belief that healthcare should have no barriers. We are united by our uniqueness, but our strength lies in standing together—to create a future where no one is left behind in the fight against cancer.
