More Than a Covering, Your Skin Has Layers Your skin is a multifunctional covering; it is, after all, the largest organ in your body that works tirelessly, day in and day out, to keep you healthy and glowing. ✨ Let’s break it down: Epidermis: The outermost layer, your body’s first line of defense against the environment. It sheds dead skin cells and gives birth to new ones, keeping you looking fresh. 🌟 Dermis: Packed with collagen, elastin, and sweat glands, this layer hydrates you, provides elasticity, and helps regulate your body temperature. 💧 Subcutaneous Layer: The deepest layer acts as a protective mechanism with a cushion-like shield to protect you from within. 🛡 Your skin is more than a cover—it’s a storyteller, revealing your health, hydration, and lifestyle. That’s why skincare isn’t just vanity; it’s self-care. 🧴 Skin Tips to Glow from Within 💧 Drink plenty of water to nourish your skin and keep it full of life. 🍇 Eat foods rich in antioxidants for a glow that comes from within. ☀ Protect your skin from ultraviolet rays—your skin will be grateful. Your skin is the first thing people notice about you; let it reflect your best self. From your glow to your scars and even your freckles, each layer tells a tale—make it a radiant one. 💬 What’s your go-to skincare habit? Top soil is eroded and we do not get enough nutrition, specifically micronutrients from our food. This makes supplements an important aspect of modern living. Apropos to that, supplements are not just for deficiency, they are also for optimisation. However, the world has become full of supplement brands and there is often confusion about the right ones. We have created a curation of supplement boxes and brands that are label accurate and non toxic. We are brand neutral as a company and the brand goes out if they do not meet the quality standards of toxicity and bioavailability and dosage. We are very happy to present our curated supplement boxes. We even offer customized solutions for an individual.

Have you ever come across Electroconvulsive Therapy, or ECT? I hadn’t either until I listened to this podcast. You might have seen it depicted in movies or series like Stranger Things—usually as a helmet-like device covered in wires that’s placed on a person’s head. It often looks intense, even a bit frightening, but also intriguing. So, what is ECT, really? Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is a medical treatment primarily used to help people with severe mental health conditions like major depression, bipolar disorder, or catatonia, especially when other treatments haven’t been effective. During ECT, small, controlled electric currents are passed through the brain while the patient is under general anesthesia. This process induces a brief, controlled seizure, which is thought to help "reset" certain brain functions, potentially providing relief from symptoms. While it can sound intimidating, modern ECT is a carefully monitored and much safer procedure than many portrayals suggest. Electrolytes are essential minerals that carry an electric charge and play a crucial role in various bodily function. 1. In a glass or shaker, combine 𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 and 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿. 2. Add 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘁, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 or 𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝗿𝘂𝗽 and 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗲. 3. Stir or shake well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. 4. Taste and adjust as needed. If you want it sweeter, add a bit more honey or maple syrup. Coconut water provides potassium, a key electrolyte that assists in muscle function and helps prevent cramps. Sea salt contributes sodium, another essential electrolyte that supports fluid balance, especially critical after exercise or prolonged sweating. Honey or maple syrup offers a natural carbohydrate source, delivering quick energy and helping to sustain physical performance without the sharp rise and fall in energy that can accompany processed sugars. Lemon or lime juice not only enhances flavor but also supplies Vitamin C, an antioxidant that supports immune function and may improve hydration efficiency. This refreshing electrolyte drink is an excellent option for supporting recovery and overall hydration, particularly after physical exertion or in high-temperature conditions. Enjoy for maximum absorption and benefit. #electrolyte #homemade #energy #minerals #dehydration #exhaused

"Hurt people, hurt people." It's a simple but powerful truth. When people have been deeply hurt, especially when they're young, they often carry those wounds with them into adulthood. Sometimes, without even realizing it, that pain spills over and causes them to hurt others. It's like a chain reaction—pain and trauma get passed on from one person to the next. But it doesn't have to be that way. It’s so good to see people out there being more open to the concept of therapy. But still it’s a long way to go from Therapists being called ‘pagalon ka doctor’. Therapy was brushed off or stigmatized, labelled as something only for “crazy people.” But in reality, therapy is just a way to understand and heal ourselves. It's about finding healthier ways to deal with our pain, so we don't end up hurting others—or ourselves. Research shows that many people who commit crimes or engage in harmful behaviour were once victims themselves. Their actions often come from a place of unhealed wounds. Therapy gives people the chance to break that cycle, to turn their pain into healing rather than more harm. The journey is long, but every step toward understanding and support brings us closer to a world where people help each other heal, instead of passing along hurt. Check out our episodes with Charvi Jain and Snehal Agarwal to know more about: Why healing is important? https://lnkd.in/gc6ZjkF4 https://lnkd.in/gFReC42p #therapy #mentalhealth #therapist -Shaily Pincha
