Help us help children everywhere have equal opportunities at a future, no matter their background!

About us

Instilt - Educate is the non-profit branch of Instilt.com, with a mission to level the playing field between children who come from more fortunate backgrounds, and those who don't have the same privilege. In the wake of the pandemic, we realized that children from all financial backgrounds were forced to access online class, may it be only on their parent's mobile phone. The silver-lining there being that the children now are open to a world of opportunities, with literally no boundaries. We hope to capitalize on this opportunity and provide these children quality education in an interactive environment, allowing them to grow, and deepen their understanding and having a fair chance at a promising future!

Today, we want to share the importance of community service, volunteering and the benefits of working towards social good. What is social good? Social good can also be called the "common good," and it describes something that benefits everyone. It's about fostering meaningful change and growth in our communities and ourselves. You can contribute to social good by participating in community service and volunteering organizations like Instilt Educate! Here are some benefits: -Culture of empathy and connection: Engaging in social good is more than giving back - it's a journey of personal growth. Working alongside diverse communities, we learn to appreciate their perspectives and foster a deeper empathy. -The power of a team: Meaningful change is never a solo mission. It takes the strength of a team, where effective impact emerges from balancing leadership with genuine cooperation. It's important to remember that we have strength in numbers and to find a community that aligns with our values so we can come together to make a difference. Finding purpose: Knowing we're making a difference brings a fulfilment that nothing else quite can. It lifts us mentally and emotionally and keeps us striving. We here at Instilt can guarantee that the realization that we are making an honest, direct, meaningful impact on the students we tutor has been nothing but gratifying. Ultimately, social good is about shaping a better tomorrow. If we can help others, then why shouldn't we? Let's grow personally and professionally and, significantly, uplift the world around us. #Instilt #InstiltEducae #SocialGood #Communityservice #Volunteer

To wrap up our last installation in Instilt Educate's College Prep series, we want to discuss how to choose a college that's best for you! Here's a list of things to keep in mind: 1. Programs and Majors: Ensure the college offers strong programs in your area of interest. Look into course offerings, faculty expertise, and research opportunities. 2. Campus Culture: Visit campuses or explore online tours to get a feel for the environment. Consider the size, diversity, and student activities that align with your values and lifestyle. 3. Location and Setting: Decide whether you prefer an urban, suburban, or rural setting. Think about proximity to home, climate, and access to internships or job markets. 4. Financial Fit: Understand tuition costs, financial aid options, and scholarship opportunities. Compare what different colleges offer to make an informed choice. 5. Support Services: Look for colleges with strong academic and career support services, like tutoring, counselling, and internship placements. 6. Graduate Outcomes: Research graduation rates, job placement statistics, and alumni success stories to assess potential return on investment. Choosing a college is about finding the best match for your academic, personal, and career goals. Take your time, research thoroughly, and trust your instincts! #Instilt #InstiltEducate #CollegeSelection #HigherEducation #StudentAdvice #CollegeTips

Happy Diwali! Diwali is a popular Hindu festival that is also often referred to as the "Festival of Light," because that is exactly what it is! Although Diwali has deep religious roots, it symbolizes the general sentiment of good defeating evil, which is why it is widely celebrated by all religions and cultures! Whether you are spending Diwali traditionally, with rituals and prayers, or just lighting firecrackers with your friends and family, Instilt Educate wishes you a very happy Diwali! 🎇

Today, I am sharing my experience as a member of Instilt Educate! I've been part of Instilt for over a year, and my experience has been exceptional. As a tutor, forming first-hand connections with my students has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and help the students grow their English skills. My other role at Instilt is managing the organization's LinkedIn account. I work with a wonderful group of people to grow the organization's online presence, and this role allows me to use one of my favourite hobbies—writing. The LinkedIn team has been formed for a little over a year now, and I am incredibly proud of my team's success and growth. I am thankful to everyone at Instilt who work so hard to keep the organization so well organized and collaborative! It's truly rewarding to be part of a community built on true dedication, passion, and hard work. In the third installation of our College Application Prep series, we want to talk about extracurriculars. Extracurricular activities are activities you do outside of school (not related to academics) that show your interests and passions in different fields. -Leadership: Leadership is something all colleges look for; it shows that you are innovative, dedicated and a great team-worker. Consider starting a club in your school, running a community event like a fundraiser, or joining an organization with a leadership position. -Community Service: Engaging in your community and volunteering in organizations can show good time-management skills and also indicates that you are an involved member of your community. Try to join an organization that shares your values, or works for a cause that’s important to you! (Instilt Educate is a great option for volunteering!) -Clubs: joining various cultural, academic and/or interest-specific clubs at your school can open your doors to meeting people who share your interests and learning about new opportunities you can participate in. Keep in mind that when it comes to extracurriculars, it’s always quality over quantity! Make sure that everything you do is meaningful and that you put 100% effort and time in. Try to match these activities in a field that you might want to pursue in college. However, if you’re unsure on what you want to do in the future, don’t worry! Just do activities that genuinely interest you! Best of luck! #instilt #instilteducate #collegeapplications #extracurriculars #volunteer #leadership #clubs

Here is the second installation of our College Application Prep Series! Writing essays are one of the most important parts of your application. They help you tell the admission officers who you are, what your story is, and why you want to attend that college! Here are a few tips: 1. Be true to yourself. Although you should try and sell yourself to colleges, when you’re listing out achievements or experiences, make sure to keep it as truthful as possible. In many cases there may not be a way to check if your writing is true, but your essay will come out a lot better and feel more genuine if you are telling a story that actually resonates with you. 2. Don’t be afraid to rewrite. Just because you really like how one of your early drafts turned out, you should never be afraid to rewrite your essay. It’s important to consistently revise essays and they can always be improved upon. You can also talk to others about ideas, as long as they aren’t directly editing or writing your essay. 3. Look at it from their perspective. Think about your essay from the perspective of the reader. Most college admissions officers don’t spend very much time on each application and even less time per each essay. Consider if you were in their position, would your essay jump out or make you seem qualified. If the answer to that question is a resounding yes, you know you have a good essay. Best of luck on your applications!
