The discussion emphasized how true inclusion requires genuine intent, thoughtful design, and deliberate delivery. “Allyship: The Importance of Being an Ally” A powerful panel moderated by Nirmala Menon featuring Vikas Sagar, Shalini Nataraj, Arpan Panicker, and Vignesh Kumar unpacked the essence of allyship. A key takeaway? “To be an ally, you don’t need a title or position of power. Belief in a cause and action is what truly matters.” Gender Monologues – A Theatrical Exploration As part of the Unconference theme, we presented Gender Monologues, a compelling performance capturing the nuanced experiences of women in the workplace. From balancing work and family to addressing biases related to personality, appearance, and sexuality, the narratives resonated deeply. This powerful medium highlighted the need for allyship and drove home the urgency of creating workplaces where merit outweighs stereotypes.
