From straight-form staircases to curved and angular forma, we've explored the full spectrum of stairway styles—whether in civil or metal construction, adorned with materials ranging from granite, marble, quartz to wood. More than a functional element, staircases often become the heart of a space. 1. Monolithic Staircase - The double height space features a striking helical staircase design next to a tall window, blending functionality with aesthetics. Its sleek with clean lines and sharp edges defining its structure. A high-gloss paint finish enhances its reflective qualities and durability against scratches. The corian handrail, in crisp white, complements the spiral staircase's design. This helical staircase embodies marble finishes above the treads and the same flows for the raised platform below the staircase. 2. Looped Staircase - Organic Staircase Design Instead of conventional steps, the upper section of the staircase incorporates ribbon-like elements that elegantly curve and twist, forming steps at two different points along the ascent. The fabricated staircase is given an monolithic exposed concrete texture finish. Positioned at intervals along the staircase, these curved corners offer inviting spots for relaxation and contemplation, effectively transforming the steps into versatile seating elements. 3. Rhythmic Staircase - Interlocked Staircase design with alternating treads combining marble and wood, creating a dynamic visual effect. The lower part features three distinct treads, emphasizing asymmetry and dynamism. In contrast, the second segment is a continuous wooden platform, presenting a unified appearance unlike the alternating materials of the first flight. 4. Seater Staircase - The design is made where the staircase appears to be grounded with planters and seaters in the first flight appears to float or hang unsupported eventually. The granite's sleek texture complements the solid white substantial presence of the concrete below. The durability of black granite ensures that the treads and risers withstand daily wear while maintaining their timeless appearance. 5. Cadenced Staircase - dog-legged staircase that creates a floating effect, achieved through the use of alternating materials contrasting with the extended thick slabs emerging from the wall. The staircase is notably rhythmic in its design, enhanced by the alternating finishes of dark grey and light grey granite. 6. Monotonous Floating Staircase design showcases a minimalist and modern design ethos, characterized by its entirely white colour scheme that promotes a sense of cleanliness and spaciousness. Each step appears to float effortlessly, achieved through a cantilevered design where a smaller portion is securely anchored to a discreet metal plate on the wall, creating a visually striking floating effect. #staircase #stairs #marble #granite #wood #design #inventarchitects
