It's a heady feeling for us at ISA Pune Section to be honoured for Section Excellence Awards by International Society of Automation (ISA) yesterday at Charleston, SC! Our Swati Madhe was also honoured with Volunteer Leader of the Year Award, and Anwesha Sen with Student Leader Excellence! It was a privilege to personally be at the Awards Gala ceremony for us Gurmeet S. Anand, Sujata Tilak and Swati Madhe Thank you ISA for your recognition and we hope to keep up the momentum!

How's that for nostalgia! I came across this folder in my possession which was for an event held by ISA INDIA SECTION way back in 1985! International Society of Automation (ISA) was known as Instrument Society of America then, and India had only one Section based in Mumbai (then known as Bombay!) and this event was 'Micro-Expo 1985 - National Conference in Microprocessor-based Indl Instrumentation and Control Systems' held in Baroda (now Vadodara). I was not in ISA then being a freshman in corporate life, the event was attended by my bosses.
