Finally a global MIM for Indians in India. We eagerly await the announcement of the international component that the program comes with.
ISB just launched the most affordable MIM equivalent, with a strong promise of a globally-benchmarked curriculum, rich industry exposure, and class diversity that reflects the industry dynamics. The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL) is ISB’s first full-time program since its inaugural PGP batch graduated in 2002. While the PGP typically attracts students with 4-5 years of experience, the PGP YL targets young professionals and recent graduates with 0-2 years of work experience. It is also the first time that ISB will accept CAT scores for a program, therefore, opening its doors to the large number of students in India who may not have taken the GMAT or the GRE. This launch is clearly part of a broader trend. In 2020, INSEAD introduced its Master in Management (MIM), the first new full-time program since its MBA class of 1960. Similarly, Chicago Booth introduced its MIM in 2023, marking the school’s first new degree program in 88 years. ⭐️ What sets ISB’s PGP YL apart for college freshers? ⭐️ ⏩ World-Class Curriculum: Backed by Associate Schools like Kellogg, Wharton, LBS, and Tufts Fletcher. ⏩ Global Faculty: ISB continues to attract top professors from prestigious institutions such as Wharton, Kellogg, and UCLA. ⏩ Unmatched Industry Exposure: With industry leaders like Rahul Bajaj, Adi Godrej, Lakshmi Mittal, and Bernard Arnault on its Board, ISB’s mentorship network is unparalleled. ⏩ Robust Placement Support: The PGP program boasts average salaries above ₹30 LPA and a network of 300+ recruiters - resources the PGP YL will undoubtedly leverage. While the program looks exciting even before its first batch graduates, ISB has its task cut out, especially given the high standards it has set with its flagship PGP.
