Business dashboards are crucial for staying on top of operations, but not all dashboards allow leaders to act in a timely manner. At itmtb, we believe that truly effective dashboards should: 1. Include real-time SLA checks and the ability to send alerts to the right stakeholders, enabling timely actions. 2. Move beyond simple tables and graphs of historical data. Modern dashboards should predict future trends with a high degree of confidence. 3. Allow business leaders to modify and create new dashboards on the fly. The right dashboard solution should be flexible and user-friendly. 4. Ensure data security by granting access only to those with appropriate clearance to view sensitive information. While this isn't an exhaustive list, these elements are crucial for a robust analytics system. At itmtb, we have built analytics solutions for some of the most innovative businesses globally. If you're looking to develop impactful business analytics and decision-making systems, reach out to us at hello@itmtb.com.

In today’s fast-paced work environment, where various business verticals collaborate closely to achieve shared goals, the role of Product Managers (PMs) is rapidly evolving. Traditionally, PMs served as a bridge, translating customer needs into product features in a quantifiable and objective manner. However, given the dynamic nature of modern businesses, PMs are increasingly called upon to apply business analysis techniques to diagnose and solve problems across different departments. For example, when a digital marketing campaign begins to falter, it is often the Product Manager who analyzes the customer journey to determine how the campaign can be better structured. This not only addresses immediate issues but also enhances overall strategy. This shift towards a more integrated role might seem like a blurring of traditional boundaries, but it is actually a testament to how a well-defined PM role can add significant value across various business functions. What changes have you observed in the role of PMs within your industry? #ProductManagement #BusinessAnalysis #DigitalMarketing #TeamCollaboration

We recently started offering Product Management as a Service to our customers. During the pilot we established certain best practises for efficient Product management. They are: 1. Identify the north star metrices for the customer's business. A north star metric is the ultimate metric the business should strive towards and every product change should contribute to the north star metric 2. Establish the benchmarks for the north-star metrics in close coordination with the stakeholders 3. Start with understanding the current state of the product vis-a-vis the north star metrics, compare where they stand presently. Identify product/process changes to improve them upto the established benchmarks 4. Establish A/B testing methods 5. Use different analysis methods to monitor regularly 6. Focus on the future state through competitor analysis, end customer interviews, experiments 7. Improve and iterate

If your company is implementing an ERP system for the first time, you may find it a challenging endeavor - It has a a 50% chance of failure according to a recent global survey by Oracle. Despite the daunting statistics, understanding the key findings from this survey can equip you with the tools to navigate these challenges successfully: 1. Budgeting for Success: Allocate approximately 1% of your company's operating budget to cover the costs of ERP implementation. This investment is crucial to ensure sufficient resources are available throughout the process. 2. Common Pitfalls: The primary reasons for ERP implementation failures include insufficient process engineering and a lack of communication across stakeholder departments. Proactive engagement and detailed process analysis are essential to mitigate these risks. 3. Strategic Threshold: An ERP system becomes crucial once a company's revenue crosses INR 300 Crores. Among organizations that have crossed this threshold and implemented ERP solutions, 62% report significant benefits, including cost savings in procurement and enhanced inventory management. 4. Technological Edge: CIOs highlight predictive analytics, AI, and deep learning as critical ERP technologies that provide a competitive edge. Integrating these advanced technologies into your ERP strategy can drive transformational growth and efficiency. Understanding these insights and preparing accordingly sets a solid groundwork for successful ERP implementation. Engage with experts, invest in training, and keep communication channels open to ensure your organization reaps the full benefits of ERP integration.

The World Wide Web became available to public in 1990. By 2000 there were around 1 million websites. By 2010 there were around 200 million websites. By 2020 the number of websites grew to 1.8 billion. Cyberattacks also grew. By 2015, one cyberattack happened every 40 seconds. By 2020, one happened every 11 seconds. We like to say that cyber security is like yoga - everyone knows its good, yet businesses only pick it when they get sick. But if they want to continue operating on the web, cybersecurity must be taken more seriously. Reach out to us if you need any help with cybersecurity for your business. #cybersecurity
