L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions, jointly with L&T Energy-Hydrocarbon, inaugurated WQM 2024 celebrations under the aegis of Mr Subramanian Sarma, Whole-time Director & President, Energy on November 6, 2024, at L&T Knowledge City Vadodara. The event kickstarted with ‘Quality’ flag hoisting, followed by leadership team sharing their thoughts on quality and expectations from employees in the backdrop of the theme ‘Ensuring Reliability by Innovation and Quality’. The month-long celebration has a host of initiatives and activities planned with a view to promote quality culture, spreading awareness and reaching out to the stakeholders.

The 15th batch of Graduate and Post Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs/PGETs) has successfully completed the Induction Training Programme conducted by PTI, Knowledge City, Vadodara. Total Forty-Seven trainees underwent 8-weeks of training and were introduced to various aspects of thermal power plants and projects such as equipment and systems, project planning monitoring & control, engineering, supply chain management, construction, commissioning, corporate strategy, contracts, digitalisation, quality management and environment, health, safety (EHS) including hands-on training at L&T Safety Innovation School. The Head of L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions, business leaders, department heads and project heads interacted with the trainees and shared knowledge. Mr Dharmendra Shrivastava, CE & Whole Time Director of L&T-MHI Power Boilers recently co-chaired the inaugural session of 20th Power Plant Summit 2024 organised by CII. In his address, Mr Shrivastava highlighted the importance of thermal power in the transformation phase of India’s energy landscape and shed light on challenges in the power sector. The event, with the theme “Transforming Thermal Power Plants through improved energy efficiency, environment management, flexible operations & adoption of AI”, was held in Hyderabad on 10-11 September.
