Your Boss Isn’t a Mind Reader—But They Notice More Than You Think Here are 7 things your boss won’t tell you—and how to handle them: 1️⃣ They Notice More Than You Think 🔍 Small mistakes and extra effort don’t go unnoticed. ✅ Pay attention to details and consistently deliver your best. 2️⃣ They Want Solutions, Not Just Problems ⚠️ Raising issues without suggesting solutions can frustrate them. ✅ Always propose at least one potential fix when sharing a problem. 3️⃣ They Value Initiative Over Compliance 📋 Simply following orders won’t get you far. ✅ Take initiative—suggest improvements and offer new ideas. 4️⃣ They Expect You to See the Big Picture 🔄 Focusing only on your tasks limits your growth. ✅ Align your work with the company’s larger goals. 5️⃣ They Won’t Say “Thank You” for Everything 🙌 Don’t expect constant praise—they may assume you already know your value. ✅ Keep doing great work, even without frequent recognition. 6️⃣ They Notice How You Treat Others 🤝 How you interact with colleagues shapes your reputation. ✅ Be kind and professional with everyone, regardless of role. 7️⃣ They Expect You to Keep Growing 🚫 Stagnant skills can hold you back. ✅ Prioritize continuous learning and personal growth. Mastering these insights can turn stagnation into promotion. learning and innovation go hand in hand
About us
Learnovate is derived from two words that our company is based on: First, "learn" is to seek knowledge and expand our current skills. The second is "innovate" which is to explore new ideas and possibilities. Like William Pollard said, "learning and innovation go hand in hand"; without each, the other is incomplete and to be successful it is important to not just expand your skills but to also know how to use them in a way that sets one apart from others. We at learnovate aim to help emerging professionals think outside the box and learn ways to use their university education in real life. We bridge the gap between theoretical and practical learning in a way that is helpful for these professionals to find jobs, prepare for further studies or start their own ventures. In India, individuals with degrees who are unemployed made up the largest percentage of the unemployment rate in 2019 at 16.3%. We found out that these students were not able to actually put their degrees to work as they lacked practical knowledge, soft skills (communication skills, time management, and more), behavioral skills, and technical skills to get jobs. To tackle this problem, we started learnovate to help students with skills that are required in the real world which would actually help them get employed.
