Last month, we at Lensroom made it to the semi finals of Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) Jaipur chapter. Although, we couldn't make it to the finals, but the experience of reaching till the semi finals was itself worthy. In fact, I had a really great time in front of the judges pitching Lensroom and all its services we offer, the progress we have made so far and the milestones we aim to achieve in the future. The positive remarks made by the judges for Lensroom gave me confidence that we are already going in the right direction and need not worry about much. Still, just going in the right direction is not at all sufficient to sustain in the startup ecosystem especially when you're in the early stage, especially when you've a team to take care of and a product that is just about to enter the market. Despite all the challenges a startup founder faces, I believe the small wins give them the vitality to show up every day and make it happen.

During my second year of college, I attended Mood Indigo - IIT Bombay's Annual Cultural Festival for the first time as a college participant along with other students of my college. Now, last week, exactly two years since then, I attended Mood Indigo for the third time and this time as a sponsor representing my company Lensroom. So, it was a proud moment partnering with Mood Indigo IIT Bombay as one of their official Media partners and getting privilege to sponsor the production of their official compi aftermovie to be released later this year. Special mentions to Ishita Sharma who actually helped me making this one goal in my bucket list of college life complete, without her constant efforts I don't think turning this dreamy thought in my mind into a sparkling reality would have been easily possible. A few things I've learned to this milestone: • It is not necessary that you always see a constant growth. Ups and downs are the real constants of the curve in a growth oriented environment which ultimately starts taking a peak in growth over a period of consistent actions and continuous efforts. • It is neither about waiting nor about stopping, it's about showing up each day and improvising on the existing progress made. We've almost finished the development of our MVP to be launched in a few days and are not really waiting for the most perfect platform to be developed before launch. Also, we're not going to stop even after it becomes the most perfect platform. • Taking the right action is important. Even if it seems too challenging to be done, taking a step towards it is important because as you move ahead, possibilities make their way itself. Partnering with Mood Indigo seemed challenging with big companies like PVR, Sony, Hindustan Times and a few more already being their media partners. We took a step ahead and got our brand featured along with these big names. Lastly, 2024 had been more of a roller coaster ride with a lot of learnings which I'll be updating about in the coming days of this January.
