It was an absolute pleasure to be at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and address the young, bright minds. Besides talking about Zeno Health's mission of making quality, affordable healthcare available to everyone, I emphasized how the rising cost of healthcare is not just a health challenge but also a factor decreasing the pace of India's growth. As per the World Economic Forum, India could lose as much as $4.58 trillion in economic output by 2030 due to the growing burden of non-communicable diseases and the expenses associated with them. The startups that can solve this challenge would not just make individuals healthy but also strengthen our nation's economy. I would be very happy to see young disruptors emerging from our colleges and taking the plunge into solving the healthcare challenge. "There's a broad shift in India's consumer markets towards premiumization. As income levels rise, consumers across metros and Tier II-III cities are gravitating towards premium, sustainable and ingredient-focused products -- areas where D2C brands have built a strong reputation. HUL, like other FMCG players, is tapping into these shifts through acquisitions. Traditional FMCG players see immense value in D2C brands, not just for their innovative products but also for their ability to generate first-party data and insights into digital-first consumer behaviour. These deals allow FMCG companies to experiment with new categories without diluting their core businesses, especially as D2C valuations remain relatively cost-efficient." Given India’s ambitious target of becoming a $10 trillion economy, what is the most critical policy or regulatory change when it comes to the formation of a startup or at the compliance level? “The one answer to that is simplification and to make things accessible. And, we have to find ways to encourage greater investment into things like manufacturing, and research and development (R&D),” Sandeep Murthy said during a panel discussion at Pune Public Policy Festival. He added that the spending on R&D in India against its GDP is 0.7 percent, whereas for most developed countries it’s at 4 percent. “We have to find a way to get that number up, whether it comes from the government or private companies, it needs to be a priority to be able to address the opportunities that still exist,” he said. https://lnkd.in/dz8_iqEZ

Ltd. centers across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, to truly meet our clients wherever they need us to. 👩💻 Grew our team to 200+ clinicians and 340+ non-clinical professionals, united in delivering ethical and impactful care. 🤝 Collaborated with 100+ corporate partners to promote workplace wellbeing through consultations, workshops, and webinars. ✨ Introduced the Amaha Hope Collective, a platform for sharing stories of resilience and hope, fostering a sense of community and belonging. These achievements are not just numbers—they represent lives impacted, barriers broken, and a growing acceptance of mental health as an essential part of overall wellbeing. But we know this is just the beginning–we have a long journey ahead to make mental health support truly accessible and stigma-free for everyone who needs it. As we look ahead to 2025, we are committed to continuing this work: launching our first Mental Health Hospital in Bangalore, expanding our Mental Health Centers to new locations, and focusing on deepening our impact through better client support and care. With the incredible team we have in place and the unwavering support of our investors, I am optimistic about the road ahead.
