Calipso suspension/Linear Stand Alone /Linear System The unique honeycomb grill of Calipso was generated by feeding a photo of the moon into an image-based algorithm found on a seemingly extinct computer. The resulting fractal shape, an impure geometry that displays the irregular beauty of nature, is built from an organic honeycomb of different diameter tubes, seemingly arranged in a random geometry. This honeycomb characterizes the lamp both aesthetically and optically - not only is it visually pleasing, but it also provides an even and comfortable light emission. The result is a highly emotional lighting object that joins together optical and aesthetic intelligence. Bontà A portable lamp explores the connection between light, food and conviviality. It’s a portable lamp that interacts with objects on the table. A body made from white textured milk glass, diffuses the light, creating a relaxed atmosphere, while the upper recess is home to a glass bowl designed to hold food for sharing. This can be combined or alternated with a taller bowl and wider one – almost a plate – at the top. The bowls – and the lamp itself – are made from hand-worked glass, making them unique pieces whose texture, transparency and colour generate a special dialogue between light and food, blurring the boundaries between them. Maximum attention to detail has been shown in order to do justice to the object itself and the other elements with which it interacts. Boalum Born in 1970 by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini, and defined by Domus as "a snake of endless light", it immediately became part of the history of Italian and world design. Its structure in translucent flexible PVC, reinforced and with resin terminals, makes it virtually indestructible. The various elements can be connected in series up to a maximum of four pieces can be rolled up as desired. It emits a diffused light and its timeless design makes it an evergreen suitable for all environments. Thanks to its flexibility, that makes it unique in the form, it can be placed on the ground or on a table, hung or twisted to invent new games of light every day. Produced from 1970 to 1983 and slightly modified in 1999, today it has been rebuilt replacing the classic light bulbs with high efficiency LEDs. Arrival Arrival is a complete lamp family with dynamic, flowing shapes that sculpt light with delicate, graphic lines. Two linear elements of different lengths and two circular ones complement the system of letters, numbers, and symbols. The circular element, available in two diameters, breaks down into modules that enable the combination of linear elements at different angles, creating ever-changing geometries. These simple basic modules, with precise geometric proportions, can be combined to construct infinite structures of light - essential or more complex, linear or curvilinear - defining suspensions that integrate into spaces according to the architecture or functionality of the environment.
