We’re so excited to bring the Maker community in Goa together on 28th December for the Maker’s Market — an evening to meet, share, and create. There’ll be amazing makers— 3D printing artists, potters, food stalls, metal work artists, and more— live workshops, a panel on Goa’s maker culture, an Open House featuring innovative tech projects from our Innovation School, and an open mic to end the night! We are looking for volunteers to spread the word and support us on the day. DM us or fill up the form in Bio to sign up :) #makersmarket #goaevents #makersasylum #volunteering

Fashion Tech Project: LED Smart Skirt As part of her Innovation School Residency, Aradhitta decided to work on a project that combined her interest in fashion with her recently acquired knowledge of tech. The process of applying technical knowledge to various aspects of life is a key aspect of being a maker. The Innovation School program helps budding makers lay the foundation for their maker journey, while enabling them to use these skills while collaborating with fellow makers to work on a project addressing a real-world situation. Maker's Asylum reposted this
Our beloved program Innovation School was just featured in the papers on back of our October immersion in Goa! This time the projects focussed on drone tracks, robotic bartender, composting, river clean up and fashion tech! The program now has students from over 10 countries and 25 cities in India and all have been coming to Goa for the creative learning immersions since 2021 and it's so inspiring to see our community of young makers grow. Thinking back, it’s been a journey full of grit, sweat, and countless unknowns since Maker's Asylum moved from Mumbai to Goa in 2020. But every year, seeing what these young minds create fills us with renewed hope and excitement for what’s possible. 📅 Applications for Summer 2025 are open until November 30! Register here to speak with our team: https://bit.ly/3XKMSmI Official website: https://lnkd.in/fJDg8Eg Background : This unique hybrid program is designed for teens (13+) and life long learners to dive into pre-engineering, design, and STEAM skills through hands-on projects. The goal is to empower young makers to get their hands dirty & bring their ideas to life. cc : Vaibhav Chhabra | Annette Augustine | Atray Agrawal | Ansh Damodaran | Tejash Polle | Shivam Kulkarni | Ajith Siva #makebreakcreate #makersasylum #makersgonnamake #innovationschool
