We’re so excited to bring the Maker community in Goa together on 28th December for the Maker’s Market — an evening to meet, share, and create. Fashion Tech Project: LED Smart Skirt As part of her Innovation School Residency, Aradhitta decided to work on a project that combined her interest in fashion with her recently acquired knowledge of tech. The process of applying technical knowledge to various aspects of life is a key aspect of being a maker. The Innovation School program helps budding makers lay the foundation for their maker journey, while enabling them to use these skills while collaborating with fellow makers to work on a project addressing a real-world situation. Our beloved program Innovation School was just featured in the papers on back of our October immersion in Goa! This time the projects focussed on drone tracks, robotic bartender, composting, river clean up and fashion tech! The program now has students from over 10 countries and 25 cities in India and all have been coming to Goa for the creative learning immersions since 2021 and it's so inspiring to see our community of young makers grow. Thinking back, it’s been a journey full of grit, sweat, and countless unknowns since Maker's Asylum moved from Mumbai to Goa in 2020.
