On December 4,2024, ICC of Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida conducted an “Awareness Drive on Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat” , in collaboration with the Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation. The campaign, aimed to educate and sensitize communities about the devastating consequences of child marriage. Our students effectively organized an awareness rally to educate villagers about the detrimental impacts of child marriage through their slogans. Participants conveyed to the community that child marriage can result in serious health issues, including maternal and infant mortality, malnutrition, and reproductive health challenges. Dr. Seema Chaudhary, the President of the Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation, an NGO collaborating on this initiative enthusiastically participated in the rally and raised awareness about the consequences of child marriage. On December 3, 2024 the Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, in association with Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation organized "A workshop on Self-Defense Techniques” at Mahamaya Balika Inter College, Noida for eliminating the violence against women. The primary objective of this workshop is aimed to equip the girls with vital self-defense techniques, enhancing their confidence, safety, and well-being. The workshop educated various effective self-defense techniques, including situational awareness, boundary setting, and physical defense strategies. The workshop focused on fostering confidence and empowering individuals to take control of their personal safety. Participants highlighted that consistent practice of self-defense techniques can improve reflexes and reaction time, enabling female students to respond quickly in hazardous situations. On 2nd December 2024, the Student Welfare Committee of Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, organized a fun-filled one-day excursion to Madhav Garh, Gurugram. Students enjoyed thrilling activities like zip lining, rope games, tug of war, archery, and dart games, along with pottery making, swimming, and lively DJ sessions. They also experienced truck, camel, and ox-cart rides, complemented by delicious breakfast and lunch. Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Eco Club, MIMT in association with Prayaas NGO organized an Extension Activity, "Awareness and Mask Distribution Drive" on National Pollution Control Day on 2nd December, 2024. During this activity, students visited Village Tugalpur, Greater Noida, highlighted the perils of pollution, and spread awareness among the community members about pollution, its causes, its effects, and measures to reduce it by interacting with them. Students highlighted how some measures and a few lifestyle changes help reduce pollution. They carried with them the banner and posters highlighting the activity. Students raised slogans and gave satisfactory replies to the queries raised by the community members during the drive. During this activity, students also distributed masks among community members to help protect themselves from pollution and encourage them to adopt measures to reduce pollution. *EBSB CLUB -Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology* Organized Presentation Competition on *Dissemination of Information about the Paired Sate* on 29th November , 2024 The event was organized by the EBSB Club of Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology. Students of M.B.A section A and B participated in the competition with great zeal. The states on which presentation was prepared by students are Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. Students presented their power point presentations with good creativity and knowledge. The activity provided awareness on these paired states and Government’s initiatives of “EK BHARAT SHRESHTHA BHARAT”. This activity helped students to know about the History of the states and also students focused on how economy of these states can be improved by these initiatives. On 30th November 2024, Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology, in collaboration with Noida Punjabi Samaj (Regd.), organized a Free Acupressure and Acupuncture Camp on the occasion of Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The camp was conducted by therapist Mr. U. P. Singh (Gold Medalist) and his team, who provided treatment for various diseases without the use of medicines, including Migraine, Tinnitus, Cervical Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Tennis Elbow, Slip Disc, Sciatica Pain, Knee Pain, Calf Muscle Pain, Back Pain, Anxiety, Depression, and more. This event was honored by the presence of Mr. Pawan Kumar, ACP, Greater Noida, as the Chief Guest. He praised the institute and its collaborators for organizing such a meaningful initiative to promote holistic healthcare. Under the distinguished guidance and active involvement of Mr. Atul Mangal, Honourable Chairman of Mangalmay Group of Institutions, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from faculty and staff members. Attendees shared their health concerns with the experts. Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology organized a Food and Nutrition activity under the theme "Sehat ka Khazana" for B.Com first-year students on 27th November 2024. The objective of the activity was to promote healthy eating habits and raise awareness about making nutritious food choices among students. The participants showcased their creativity through beautifully designed and appetizing salads and dishes. A variety of vegetable and fruit-based dishes, including corn salad, sprouts salad, vegetable chow mein, oat fruit custard, and many other innovative recipes using commonly available ingredients, were displayed. An expert panel of judges, including Dr. Bhavna Joshi, HOD, Education Department, MIMT, and Dr. Garima Srivastav, HOD, MIET, evaluated the entries based on taste, nutritional value, hygiene, sanitation, creativity, and overall presentation.
