The Fitness Club at Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology organized Fit India Week starting from 8th December 2024, which will continue until 13th December 2024. On the first day, 8th December 2024, the activities included a Fitness Awareness Quiz and a Pledge Ceremony, where students participated by attempting the e-quiz and taking a pledge along with their family members. The Fitness Awareness Quiz helped students learn more about the importance of fitness, balanced nutrition, and regular exercise. It also encouraged them to think about their health habits and make better choices. On 6th December, 2024, the Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology celebrated its freshers' party, "Mangal Aarambh-2k24," for the first-year students. The event began with a Ganesh Vandana, creating a spiritual and auspicious start to the celebration. This was followed by ramp walks and a talent hunt, where students showcased their talents in singing, dancing, poetry, and stand-up comedy. These performances were evaluated by a panel of judges. After the performances, a prize distribution ceremony was held during which winners were awarded titles such as Mr. Fresher, Ms. Fresher, and Best Attire from each department. Chairman Dr. Atul Mangal congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of such events in providing a platform to display their talents and foster confidence. The students thoroughly enjoyed the event, making it a day to remember. Electoral literacy club – MIMT conducted Group discussion session on the theme of" My vote is My right " for the student of MBA semester 1st on 4th December, 2024. The aim of the session was to spread awareness on the voting process, importance of voting among students and to enhance the communication skills and thinking capacity of the student.The session encouraged students to view voting not only as a civic duty but also as a means to voice their expectations for progressive change. On December 4,2024, ICC of Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida conducted an “Awareness Drive on Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat” , in collaboration with the Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation. The campaign, aimed to educate and sensitize communities about the devastating consequences of child marriage. Our students effectively organized an awareness rally to educate villagers about the detrimental impacts of child marriage through their slogans. Participants conveyed to the community that child marriage can result in serious health issues, including maternal and infant mortality, malnutrition, and reproductive health challenges. Dr. Seema Chaudhary, the President of the Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation, an NGO collaborating on this initiative enthusiastically participated in the rally and raised awareness about the consequences of child marriage. On December 3, 2024 the Mangalmay Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, in association with Jan Chetna Jagran Foundation organized "A workshop on Self-Defense Techniques” at Mahamaya Balika Inter College, Noida for eliminating the violence against women. The primary objective of this workshop is aimed to equip the girls with vital self-defense techniques, enhancing their confidence, safety, and well-being. The workshop educated various effective self-defense techniques, including situational awareness, boundary setting, and physical defense strategies. The workshop focused on fostering confidence and empowering individuals to take control of their personal safety. On 2nd December 2024, the Student Welfare Committee of Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, organized a fun-filled one-day excursion to Madhav Garh, Gurugram. Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Eco Club, MIMT in association with Prayaas NGO organized an Extension Activity, "Awareness and Mask Distribution Drive" on National Pollution Control Day on 2nd December, 2024. During this activity, students visited Village Tugalpur, Greater Noida, highlighted the perils of pollution, and spread awareness among the community members about pollution, its causes, its effects, and measures to reduce it by interacting with them. Students highlighted how some measures and a few lifestyle changes help reduce pollution. They carried with them the banner and posters highlighting the activity. Students raised slogans and gave satisfactory replies to the queries raised by the community members during the drive. During this activity, students also distributed masks among community members to help protect themselves from pollution and encourage them to adopt measures to reduce pollution.
