Checkout this profile on Medial - https://lnkd.in/d5DvZWbt A nice space created by Niket Raj Dwivedi to talk about tech and startups. . As I have been a long user of Linkedin, I don't see much clarity on why I use it. My feeds are filled with carousel of people just copying each other's work and posting ( because I am a designer) , showing off their career (which is good), spitting their aggression ( I don't know why ), people applying for jobs from easy apply and getting rejection (because of vague understanding of user flow) and a lot more features which I don't know why Linkedin has !!. . And then I shifted to Medial the core reason why I joined linkedin. I won't explain and brag about the app but this app is good. So go check out my profile, the app and features.

It's been a few weeks since I started using the Medial app and the work they did in building this app is fabulous. It has all the features that are required to build personal and professional connections as well as specific features for posting your content on it. They got some absolute best features like NEWS of startup,Idea validation,Rant,Co founder search, finance and a very smooth interface. I would personally recommend this app to all the people who want to grow their network. Great job by team and a small recommendation that they should spend as per their funds on marketing and growing the user base of this app. Niket Raj Dwivedi Harsh Dwivedi and Team Medial

CEO at Medial. Previously CEO/Founder of The Write Order acquired by Pratilipi.

Medial just hit 100k users! We've been silently building the core of our product and improving all the metrics that matter. Great retention, good engagement and insane user love is what's driving our growth. Oh and we haven't spent anything in almost 6 months on marketing. The goal was to build a platform that grows by word of mouth. Next stop is half a million users by Jan-Feb 2025. All of this scaling has been possible due to my co-founders who just don't stop working. Insane obsession by Prateek Kaien handling dev-ops and AI efforts, Aishwarya Raj Pandey handling app development, design, backend and Harsh Dwivedi handling growth, web, backend and more. The journey of creating a global professional network for the startup and tech ecosystem from India 🇮🇳 has just started and it is still Day 1 for us. Watch out this space for more.

I help founders, CXOs and Professionals grow | Angel Investor | Growth Hacker

Fun of using the LinkedIn is over Today when I opened the App, all I saw was this image ⬇️ I felt I just opened the Instagram. I had to recheck again that it was indeed LinkedIn. If you have previously bought the LinkedIn services, you know it is one of the costliest platforms. Still after reel/videos, all I can see is an ad. More irritating feature like catch up, video button is just a waste of time. I feel in the race of catching the trend, one should not lose its authenticity. LinkedIn has to work on UI UX or hire a new team. Otherwise, LinkedIn is losing its credibility as professional networking platform. Or maybe it is the time to switch to Medial. Do you know any other platforms?

How to source venture deals as a micro VC? 👇 - Big VC firms have a sorted deal flow but micro VCs and Angel Investors don't get many deals and opportunities, I will be listing down some ways through which you can source new deals. 1) Build a personal brand. > Even though I am not an investor, I receive many messages from founders looking to raise funds and seek some help. This is because I post content revolving around startups and venture capital. Increase your visibility on the platform, create a recall value for yourself, so that whenever someone is looking to raise funds, they approach you first. 2) Network with startup and entrepreneurship club of colleges. > Reach out to entrepreneurship cell of the colleges, have a regular look at their social media handles, whenever someone is starting up from their college, you can reach out to them or the cell can reach out to you so that they can help the student founder. 3) Endless scrolling > Keep scrolling on LinkedIn everyday, check the comment section of top tier VCs, they receive many comments from founders seeking to raise funds, you can reach out to these founders. 4) Checkout Medial app's startup showcase section > Medial app has a section where founder's can showcase their startups, currently they have more than 200+ early stage startups, you can sort them according to your needs and reach out to the founders. (link in comments) 5) Build connections with scouts and people in the industry > Reach out to your fellow VCs, build connection with them so that if they get a deal, which they are not interested in, they can pass it to you. Build connections with scouts, They will scout startups for you. I too have referred many startups to VCs. There are many methods to source new deals in the VC world, but I have listed the top 5 methods, which I feel will be very helpful for new VCs. Follow Vrishank R., if you don't want to miss out on more such amazing posts revolving around the VC and startup ecosystem. 😉
