    Participating in Meesho’s DICE (Democratise Internet Commerce for Everyone) program has been a heartening for me , hands-on problem-solving, and invaluable learning. From the start, Meesho’s mission of Democratising Internet Commerce for everyone has resonated with me, and it was inspiring to witness how Meesho has democratized not just the lives of its users but also those of our partners, including suppliers and delivery partners. Recently, I had the privilege of visiting suppliers in Surat to understand their challenges firsthand. While they shared valuable insights on ways to enhance the platform, one point resonated strongly within them : the zero-commission model has been a game-changer. Suppliers believe it has truly democratized internet commerce, making it accessible to everyone My key takeaway is that user-first solutions, no matter how small or simple, often have a far greater impact on end users than ideas designed in the conference room without focusing on the user.Equally crucial is ensuring users clearly understand the platform's features, as better comprehension can significantly enhance their feature outcome.     As we wrap up 2024, I can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come. From 60K downloads in 2017 to 210 million in 2024, the journey has been incredible. A big driver of this is the surge in consumption from non-metros. Around 50% of our ~175 million Annual Transacting Users now come from Tier 4+ towns like Naidupeta, Sherghati, and Harapanahalli. By applying first principles thinking, we’ve reimagined the e-commerce experience to meet their unique needs. 📱India’s Most Downloaded Shopping App – 4 Years in a Row This speaks volumes about our user-first culture. We are deeply committed to listening to our users, understanding their unique needs, and building a platform that makes quality products affordable and accessible to consumers across the country. It’s not about adding features—it’s about building solutions that genuinely make a difference to our users. This mindset shapes every decision, every feature, and every innovation. 🤖Tech-First Innovation Driving Growth At the heart of transforming Indian e-commerce lies our tech-first approach to everything at Meesho. From AI-driven in-app personalization delivering tailored shopping experiences to India’s first large-scale multilingual AI-powered voicebot revolutionizing customer support, tech innovation continues to fuel our growth. We’ve also introduced innovative initiatives like AI-powered address translation and smart capture, ensuring seamless deliveries to even the remotest corners of the country. 🛡️Commitment to unwavering consumer trust Through initiatives like Project Vishwas, we've doubled down on our commitment to platform safety and user trust. By leveraging advanced fraud detection tools and collaborating closely with law enforcement, we’ve successfully prevented over 22 millions fraudulent transactions and blocked 7.7 million scam attempts.
