The Megha Gas Tiruvannamalai team successfully conducted a Level-3 mock drill at our Tindivanam Mother Station in Villuppuram district, Tamil Nadu, this month. The exercise simulated various scenarios, including major fires resulting from gas leaks during unloading operations from an LCV cascade van. The team demonstrated swift responses, initiating rescue operations to relocate individuals to a safe zone. The Mother Station staff, along with the Tindivanam Fire Department, District Administration officials, and IMED Multi-Specialty Hospital from Villupuram, participated in the exercise. New LCNG Plant Coming Up At MIDC- Chandrapur, Maharashtra We are thrilled to announce the successful installation of our 6th Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tank at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Tadali, Chandrapur district. This milestone marks a significant step forward in boosting the Natural Gas ecosystem in Maharashtra. As part of our City Gas distribution services, we currently operate six Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in the districts of Wardha and Chandrapur. Our new 56 KL LNG storage tank & regasification plant equipment, once commissioned, will ensure steady supply of CNG for the transportation sector and Piped Natural Gas for commercial and industrial operations and later for domestic households promoting energy efficiency and safer Natural Gas supply.  Located on the busy Chandrapur-Nagpur highway, our facility will also feature Megha Gas' first LNG Station, catering to long-haul commercial LNG trucks. Fuelling Amara Raja Circular Solutions Battery Recycling Operations With PNG We are thrilled to announce the successful commencement of Industrial Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply to Amara Raja Circular Solutions Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary of Amara Raja Group.  As one of India’s largest manufacturers of lead-acid batteries, they have adopted Megha Gas Industrial PNG services to fuel their plant in the SIPCOT Industrial Area at Cheyyar, Tiruvannamalai district in Tamil Nadu. Their battery recycling plant will now benefit from a steady supply of 5000 SCMD of Megha Gas PNG. Committed to minimizing ecological footprint, Amara Raja's state-of-the-art oxy-fuel system reduces waste and lowers CO2, SOx, and NOx emissions. Taking their sustainability efforts further, they are now integrating Industrial PNG into their battery recycling process, further decreasing emissions and contributing to a cleaner environment. Megha Gas Expands CNG Stations Across Odisha, Leading the Way in Green Fuel Megha Gas is gradually expanding its footprint in the state of Odisha with the inauguration of its third CNG station in Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district. This marks a significant step forward in our mission to revolutionize the energy landscape in the region. Furthering our step to promote CNG and the launch of the CNG bike sales in Bhawanipatna, we partnered with a local Bajaj OEM partner and conducted a bike rally in the city. The Freedom CNG Bike is a gamechanger in India's two-wheeler segment promoting eco-friendly transportation. The first refueling session took place at the Megha Gas CNG station at Sahadeb Fuels, followed by a bike rally across the city. This event aimed to promote the new CNG station and spread awareness about the benefits of green fuel. Megha Gas operates 3 CNG stations in the Rayagada zone, including our COCO outlet at the Titlagarh LCNG plant. With our state-of-the-art LCNG Plant in Balangir, we are building a robust Natural Gas ecosystem. Through this system we will supply Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to households and industries around Titlagarh, and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for automobiles across the Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada, and Rayagada districts.
