Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a CPSE under MHI, has secured an order from The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) to set up a 1x800 MW Supercritical Thermal Power Plant in Telangana on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) basis. Under this contract, BHEL’s scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning, along with civil works. The scope also includes supplying highly efficient, state-of-the-art equipment for emission control. The proposed unit is to be established adjacent to the existing 2x600 MW units which are in operation. Significantly, these units were also entrusted upon BHEL for Boiler-Turbine-Generator (BTG) scope and both units were commissioned by BHEL in 2016. #BHEL #MHI

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a CPSE under MHI, has secured an order from MAHAGENCO to set up the 2×660 MW Koradi Supercritical Thermal Power Station (Units 11 & 12) in Nagpur district, Maharashtra. BHEL’s scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of the main plant package (Boiler, Turbine & Generator) and associated auxiliaries, along with all necessary electrical, civil, and structural works. Under the ‘Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Indian Capital Goods Sector Phase-II’ scheme, MHI has sanctioned a Common Engineering Facility Centre (CEFC) at Welding Research Institute (WRI), Trichy-Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited to provide skilling in Advanced Welding Technologies. With a total project cost of ₹87.06 crore, including an MHI grant of ₹69.648 crore, the initiative has already trained over 7,000 welding professionals, strengthening India’s skilled workforce and driving industrial growth.

NEPA Limited, a CPSE under MHI, participated in the 'Safe Click' campaign. A program on cybercrime and security was organized in coordination with the police, where a pledge was taken to promote responsible digital citizenship and prevent cybercrimes.

Under the #100DaysForTBElimination campaign, ICAT-International Centre for Automotive Technology, a division of NAB and an autonomous body under MHI, conducted its third Ni-Kshay Shivir (Health Camp) at its premises for all employees. A total of 191 people were screened with the aim of achieving #TBMuktBharat.
