This is the story of Dalveer a small scale dairy producer in Punjab, India. His family is involved in Dairy farming from generations. Dalveer like many other new age farmers not only understands the importance of Dairy to provide nutrition and livelihoods to millions of people globally but also how his farm and dairy practices can help minimise the climate change. He adopted farm practices like ration balancing to reduce methane emissions from cows by 10-15% and invested in BioGas to help mitigate methane emissions that would have otherwise escaped from landfills.
