  • Boosting Body and Brain: A Lesson from Shun Takahashi 髙橋駿. At Mosaique, we emphasize that physical fitness holds equal importance to technical skills. Recently, our trainees had the special chance to train with Shun Takahashi, our business development manager, an experienced rugby player and former coach from Japan. He taught them the carioca step, a lateral stepping drill utilized in multiple sports to enhance agility and coordination. In Japan, over 80% of students can perform this movement effortlessly, as schools integrate balance and core training from an early age. However, for our Indian trainees, this exercise was unexpectedly challenging. The carioca step requires stability, coordination, and quick footwork, all of which are difficult without a strong core. This experience reinforced the importance of balance in both sports and daily life. Good balance enhances smooth movements, speed, and injury prevention, whereas poor balance can lead to awkward movements and a higher risk of injuries. Mr.Takahashi envisions bringing Japan’s fitness training philosophy to India, where children often lack exercise due to academic pressures. With rising concerns like diabetes and sedentary lifestyles, he aims to introduce structured physical education that not only strengthens the body but also stimulates the brain. His training focuses on core strength, balance exercises, and agility drills, helping children develop both physical fitness and mental sharpness. By incorporating this training into Indian schools, we can enable students to adopt healthier, more active lifestyles, equipping them not only for sports but for life as a whole. Mr. Shun Takahashi sports background :- ‐ Achieved Top 8 in the National High School Rugby Championship. ‐ Competed in the All-Japan University Championship. ‐ Taught physical education and coached rugby at a private junior and senior high school. ‐ Coached at a local rugby school. ‐ Represented Japan in 13-a-side rugby. #PhysicalFitness #SportsEducation #YouthDevelopment #ActiveLifestyle #HealthAndWellness #BrainAndBody #BalanceTraining #team #teamwork #japan #japaneseculture

  • A Sweet Taste of Japan at Mosaique! At Mosaique, we actively promote the exploration of Japanese culture among our employees and trainees, extending beyond just language and work. Recently, our employees and trainees had the wonderful opportunity to try authentic Japanese cakes, made by a Japanese lady who used to run a bakery in Osaka. After moving to Bangalore with her husband, she continues to bake delicious treats for the Japanese community here in Bangalore One of our trainees, Akshaya A, shared her thoughts: “The cheesecake was incredibly soft and fluffy, with just the right level of sweetness, most of us enjoyed it! The fruit tart was vibrant and tempting, but its flavor didn’t quite match the cheesecake. Nevertheless, both were wonderful experiences!" Food is an amazing way to connect with various cultures, and these small experiences deepen our team's appreciation for the richness of Japan. Have you ever tasted Japanese desserts? Share your favorites with us! #JapaneseCulture #WorkAndCulture #CulturalExchange #JapaneseFood #LearningBeyondWork #Japan #workculture #Newexperience

  • A Sunday of Sports, Language, and Cultural Exchange! What happens when learning Japanese meets the thrill of rugby? A Sunday filled with fun, teamwork, and new friendships! Our trainees had an incredible time playing rugby for the first time with Shun Takahashi 髙橋駿, their Japanese language teacher, and his Japanese friends in Whitefield. They started the day with self-introductions, followed by learning the game’s rules entirely in Japanese! It was a unique way to improve their language skills while experiencing Japanese sportsmanship firsthand. Bharath V M, one of our trainees, shared how the experience reminded him of the teamwork and discipline seen in anime like Haikyuu. After the match, Shun and his friends treated them to a meal, discussing everything from Japanese dialects to geography. More than just a game, this was an enriching exchange of culture and camaraderie. Also, They’ve been invited to another match next week! #JapaneseLearning #CulturalExchange #Sports #LearnJapanese #Teamwork #JapanIndia #JapaneseCulture #Sportsmanship #NewExperiences

  • 「道徳を学ぶ Learning morals」 Inspiring Young Minds: A Visit to Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School On January 28th, our Managing Director, hiro ishida, and Business Development Manager Shun Takahashi 髙橋駿 ,visited Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School to discuss the Japanese kindergarten and elementary school education system. A key topic of interest was moral education, which is an essential part of Japanese life. In Japan, children learn morals not just in school but also at home and within their communities, where neighbors play a role in teaching discipline and social values. After the meeting with the teachers, they conducted an interactive session with the students on Japan and its culture. Most of them have watched Japanese anime, so they were eager to know more about it and had some great questions. One question that was quite thought-provoking was this:"How did Japan develop after the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?"The resilience and determination of the Japanese people left a deep impression on everyone. The visit concluded with a sword-drawing performance, where the students cheered loudly as the sword was drawn, just like Zenitsu from Demon Slayer. We hope to continue fostering curiosity about Japan and building strong cultural ties for the future! #Education #InspiringYoungMinds #CulturalExchange #Japan #MoralEducation #GlobalLearning #FutureLeaders #JapaneseCulture #Leadership #StudentEngagement #IndiaJapan #GrowthMindset

  • A Heartwarming Reunion in Japan. At Mosaique Pvt Ltd, we take great pride in witnessing the success of our students and employees in Japan. Our Managing Director, hiro ishida, recently traveled to Japan and had the wonderful chance to reconnect with alumni from our very first batch (2018) all the way to our latest third batch (2024). The highlight of this trip was the annual ski tour, where Mr. Ishida enjoyed the slopes alongside members of the second batch. The ski trip to Ryuoh in Shiga Kogen brought together 10 participants, creating an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, friendly competition, and cherished memories. After the adventure, a cozy dinner party provided the ideal backdrop to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments. It was a proud moment for Mr. Ishida to see these individuals, who once studied at Mosaique, now thriving in their careers throughout Japan. Mosaique has always been committed to helping talented individuals realize their dreams, whether through language training, cultural preparation, or career placement. This reunion was more than just skiing or sharing a meal; it showcased the lasting influence Mosaique has in shaping global careers. We eagerly anticipate what the future holds for our expanding community! #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerInJapan #GlobalOpportunities #AlumniSuccess #JapanWorkCulture #WorkAbroad #InternationalCareers #LeadershipJourney #EmployeeSuccess #LanguageAndCareer
