We are excited to announce that the publication of the book chapter titled: "Climate change-WASH services-Health nexus: The Indian case" authored by: Brij Mohan Sharma (RECETOX, Czech Republic, ETH, Zurich, Switzerland), Avanti Roy Basu (Mu Gamma), Anagha Krishnan (Mu Gamma), Dr Girija Bharat (Mu Gamma) and Dr Syamal Sarkar (TERI). This has been featured in the newly released Elsevier book titled: "Health and Climate Change: Unraveling the Connections" edited by Dr. Saroj Pachauri, MD, PhD, DPH, Dr. Ash Pachauri and M P Jonathan. This book chapter explores the multidimensional impacts of climate change on health, including the prevalence of diseases, malnutrition, mental health challenges, and more. Drawing on insights from both developed and developing countries, it highlights the urgent need for collective action. Microplastics are everywhere! That's why we need global teamwork 🙏 Microplastics research is still an emerging field, and we need to come together to find the right methods and solutions.   👋 At NIVA, we were honored to host a delegation from India, here to learn how we detect and analyze microplastics in the Norwegian environment — from sampling in the Alna River to precision work in our labs.    This exchange was part of the India-Norway cooperation project on capacity building to reduce plastic and chemical pollution in India (INOPOL), a long-standing partnership.   A big thanks to our partners SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Mu Gamma Consultants Pvt.
